How about a hobbit? You could be Frodo's Great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandmother.

Hmn....

Yeah yeah yeah. Elves are nice. I just have a flair for something more exotic. (You know what I mean Maggie)

I don't know what all the fuss is over elves anyway.

Arcala: It's near the end, when Elladen and Elrohir come to Gondor. (And Elladen winds up in a muddy river...)

Willow: See? You marry him in RPGs. Role Playing Games. It's a game. Fantasy. I, however, will shortly marry him in real life. (I hope it's shortly... stupid Atani kids!)

How about this? Glorfindel marries you instead of me because I'm a wizard. Not an Elf. In this.

*Wonders what a game is...*

I'm sorry, Maggie does not know the meaning of games, she takes all her roles very seriously and each role she plays becomes a part of her, therefore anything done in a so called game is something done in real life to her.

If you wish to include that as a plot point I suppose we could work it in, when we get to it. For now let's concentrate on getting to the first age. We don't have to start worrying about who gets Glorfindel, (me of course,) until just before the fall of Gondolin. Actually I wasn't even planning to bring him into this until we got that far. So much for that plan...

(And I do not swoon over him every time you see me! It's simply that you and Katt and Eliza and sometimes Liz start teasing me about him and then I start defending him because some people will insist that he nances and that he's worse than Legolas and then it just goes downhill from there...)

Actually, glorfy is kinda cool... I think one of my friends is obsessed with haldir, which is quite scary...

And one of my friends is frodo's great-great-great-great.... cousin? Her daddy was the brother of one of frodo's ancestors Just like i'm aragorns great-great-great-great... aunt, because I'm Aranarth's sister, the last princess of fornost

O, but we must work everything out in advance! No, don't bother including it. Just confusing, and since we can't work any tiny part of my Long Sad Story into humorous TLA,( ) we might as well do yours in full.

Curufin? Hmmm....only if I can swing to the roof on a chandelier rope, kick a hole in the cieling and escape off the roof wearing combat boots.

"the gayest gay elf" indeed. Nancing down a pike? Interesting....

I only tease you because it's fun. And I think it's sweet, so don't bite me please.

lol, obligatory quote from the VSD. Hee hee hee... I believe it was in Arwen's entry....

Day Six

Legolas got all shirty when I accused him of trying on my dresses. He says I have impugned his masculinity. What masculinity?

Day Eleven

Legolas still sulking. Says other elves making fun of him now since whole dress-trying-on-incident. Says they no longer take him seriously as a man. He must have missed it when Daddy called him 'the gayest gay elf that ever nanced down the pike' at last Council meeting. Or maybe he just didn't understand it; he's awfully pretty, but not so bright.

The TLA is on the way!

Please welcome the Return of the TLA into your inboxes and hearts.

However, many of you do not have enough room in your inboxes. Just a friendly notification.

Thanks Katt!

I'm glad you liked it, Elf Girl. I was already wondering whether I had sent it to the wrong address.

FREAK RAIN!!!!!!!! O.o

Queen of prolonged unexplained absences and long, loooong car rides.

Well, hullo everyone. As you can see, I don't hang out here muchly anymore. There's a good reason for this. Y'see, I've been hanging out at a different chatboard called Cardboardia. So far, I've been havin' a blast. Not that I don't love the TLA, but the magic of Entmoot is lost on me. So, as soon as TLA ends, so will my existance here, probably.

Who knows though? I might stay. Highly unlikely however. This is a good bye in advance, then. Unless you want to join me and my group of friends at Cardboardia.

Cheers!

Hm...speaking of cults...a true TLAer should be able to make an entrance anywhere am I right? Anywhere anytime? The other thread I was in died (We closed it because of some...differences...I think...) and I was wondering if I could re-join TLA? I've even thought up the perfect entrance!(I couldn't sleep last night) Of course you can deny me...doesn't matter. Ok, welp I gots to go PM Katt.

Hey guys, I just started a thread called the Middle Earth Party House and I got some problems.

All these serious newbies showed up and are dulling down the party.

I was wondering if some TLAers could show up and show them all how to party.

I made a head last night.

Edit: (Sorry. Disregard Post)

To answer your questions Fred...

Yes, a true TLAer can make an entrance anywhere and often does so.

Time jump posts are posts that advance the story line by skipping over something and assuming it has happened, this comes in very handy for the parts of the stories that tend to slow down and prevents things from getting stuck in one place. After the Time jump has occured the people involved in the skipped scene can post a flashback scene to fill in what happened. In threads such as TLA there are often times when these types of posts are extremely useful.

Okay, this post is a more detailed explanation of what I meant by the weird post where Eru seperated all of us. Basically, the methods we've used for the past TLA's, (making it up as we go along and being crazy,) aren't going to work as well for the Sillymarillion. Reason being that the Sil does not lend itself to humor quite as easily as LotR and the Hobbit do. Because of this I think we need to make the storyline and humor a bit more serious. Anyway, I just set up a situation in which we can choose one or two character roles to play like we did with the fellowship in the first TLA, if we just focus on one or two characters or purposes each instead of acting like extra Valar observing or interfering with it all it'll make it a bit easier to keep the story moving and making sense while still being a good parody.
