Yeah, I know the name, but i'm not real familiar w/ the LA area. My dad had a job that required a lot of temporary moves, he usually just commuted if it was as close as LA. If it was farther away, (Fresno, Sacremento, or Pheonix, AZ) then we'd pack up and go w/ him.

Does anyone live in Scotland or has been to Scotland?
Has anyone ever eaten haggis?
Did you like it?

I have eaten haggis, although not in Scotland. It's ok, as long as you don't think about what's in it.

Yeah I liked it too. Did you hear to haggis story of the animal called a haggis that has it's left legs shorter then its right legs so it has to live on a mountain and can only walk around the mountain counter-clockwise? It is therefore easy to catch since you only have to wait for it to come around the mountain again and then conk it on the head. So when I ate it I thought of the story and forgot that whole stomach and intestine thing.

My computer happens to be located in Seattle, Wa, USA (as one can see from my "Location") but my mind is normally located here at Entmoot, or in Middle-earth. Of course.
To the Boston people out there-I used to live in Boston! Well, it was almost 9 years ago, but I did live there! Ah, I miss Boston. . .still, now that I've spent half my life here in the West. But I like Seattle. I like the rain. And it's snowing now! Snow, real snow!

GO MARINERS!!!!!!!!

are you looking to go to all the 'tourist attractions'? cuz the only ones i can think of off the top of my head are: the Prudential Center/Copley place and the Freedom Trail. if you want to see the LotR while you're here, don't go to the cinema at Copley place, they're only showing R rated movies. you'd want to check the newspapers to see where it's playing. enjoy your stay in our lovely city! (and be very, very careful crossing the street: we have some of the rudest drivers in the States)

to Eruviel: i HATE you! you actually have friggin' SNOW!!! what i would give to have even 5 inches of snow...i could prove i'm an elf to all my doubting friends. of course, i'd have to pour water on the snow and make ice so i could stand on it, but...teeheehee

Well, there's the Swan Boats in The Boston Commons. . .I don't really remember much else--oh! If you like tourist stuff, go on the Ducks. Or not. It's kinda cheesy, but fun! *Drags out "Boston Monopoly" to look for other places. . .Check out Paul Revere's house if you can. That's fun.

To Tinuviel Child: I never said it was sticking! It was just coming down really hard, and melting. What I would give for some real, sticking 5 or more inches. . .I miss real snow! Maybe that's why I want to go to college in Minnesota. . .

Seems like America is wel represented, but what about Europe? So far I only saw one from England. Me, I'm from Belgium myself, been there for 20 years and counting.

Well Kyote Fields, seem you have still more opportunity of entmoot-gatherings than ME! Sigh....
