I was a Dunadain before i turned into a Nazgûl...

But every race has its advantages, so i'd like to be a maiar and have the ability to shape shift... when i got tired of one race id change to another!

The Nazgul Queen beat me to posting the Maia answer.

For me it would be the same reason.

She was kown as dernhelm because of her exclaimation when she realized that the rider's headgear was heavy and obscured her sight.

Umm...I don't think, that evil guys listened a lot music anyway...

I'd be an Elf! I'm not sure which one though.

Men ends with "en", hobbit ends with an "i" before the t. Elfin sounds like someone with mixed Elf & Hobbit blood, and Elven sounds like someone with mixed Elf & Men blood. Once again, I just made it up.
Shouldn't it have been Elvit then?

Gandalf Where would you work in Middle-earth?

I was thinking about what my occupation would be if I was to live in Middle-earth. Frankly I would just like to be there and travel and see all the great sites and locations. "There was where the battle of the Pelennor Fields took place".

But eventually I would have to settle down and get a job (like I do in this world ). I think I would like to work somewhere in Minas Tirith. It would be a great place to live thats for sure, and the king would be pretty cool to have

So, how would you spend your days in Middle-earth?

I'd be working in the Houses of Healing. Of course, since human medicine is inferior, I might have to beg an apprenticeship somewhere faraway and exotic to learn some elf-healing. As I get more experience, I might try getting more and more chances to travel and learn about different techniques and skills, so I can bring it back to help my people. And of course, I would share my knowledge with anyone who needs it.

A Dwarf of course!
Who needs to be immortal, Dwarves have a nice long lifespan. They are strong and tough, and their minds are not easily corrupted.

I would be a bartender. It would be a good way to keep up on the latest happenings in Middle Earth. Plus it would be fun.

I'd be a Gondorian border guard at Cirith Ungol circa 1000 TA. A nice quiet job.

What if we started a scholarly debate about him? He wouldn't be insignificant any more! Your plan is doomed, MWAHAHAHA!!

It doesn't matter. Someday Hobbits will take over the universe . . . and we will cultivate vast fields of mushrooms, and speak with Cockney accents, and hold huge birthday parties! Yay!

I'd like to be one of the Wild Men of Druadan Forest, wearing the grass skirts and talking funny. Good at math, too: "You have a score of scores counted five times and ten. They have more."

Ghan-Buri-Ghan knows his multiplication tables. Do you?
