This Elf Lord reports to jury duty (and strongly advices Treebeard to retire).
EDIT: I truly hope that Mari's wisdom will guide us, lest hector may have an unfair trial...

Great, four of you are already here! Now we only have to wait for the final member of the jury.
Meanwhile you guys can look over the accusations, consider the evidence so far, and start contemplating Hector's guilt Since most of Hector's alleged crimes fall under the category of power-abuse, both in and out of office, I suggest we focus on that. Thus, the jury will eventually decide whether Hector is guilty or not guilty of power-abuse. If found guilty, Hector will be punished thereafter. Of course, Hector is offered a fair chance to at any time stand up and meet the accusations, explain himself, defend himself, or just desperately cry out pleas for mercy

I ask the Attorney General to consider the following:
- That all posts and threads (exluding posts relating to my later request) present in Entmoot's forum and archives be used as evidence in this trial, and that any posting that occurs after the date of the trial is begun can also be used as evidence for or against the defendant. - All quoting of evidence must state its date and name of thread - I further ask that any evidence that involves the Attorney General and the jury be barred from being used as evidence as it would challenge the integrity of this court, and if this is not granted that such evidence could only function as a supporting role and not lend ultimate weight in favor or against the defendant. I also ask the Attorney General to establish whether a simple majority is needed for or against in the jury.

Well, you can always ask but I guarantee nothing
Heck no, we demand jury unanimity here! Your duty is to get along and come up with a joint decision, or else we won't let you out

Let me remind you that in a jury-trial your guarantee does not have final say I asked you merely to consider the nature of evidence used, not approve... I ask the Attorney General to familiarize himself with the legal procedures of a jury-trial, or he himself shows contempt for court. And that would look bad

I guess I don't need to say it; it's already been said.

Are you sure "arrived" is the right word? I was camping out front in the no-man's-land between Hector's discontents and his entourage. I say, they really need to do something about those cars going down the street. Like outlaw it.

Well, with a good load of politicians in the jury, at least Hector will be judged by his peers.

Don't look at me. I'm more easily classified as the typical clueless small-town girl. I dunno nuthin' of politics. Unless being against everything counts as being in the opposition.

I say this Court is broken! A charade! A mere facade to hide Jonathan's lies on his true "imprisonment" in Hector's "dungeons". "I" quit my "juror" dut"y" right "away"!
Fre"e" Hector"!"

I remember some interesting IMs that hector and I had a few years back ...
but those wouldn't be admissible, would they? (ps - don't worry, hector - your secrets are safe with me!)
