I know what you mean. I have so many books planned, and so little actually written.

I would have to say Middle Earth or Krynn. For those who don't know, Krynn is the world from the Dragonlance series, which I think is fun (especially the kender).

My brother absolutely despises kender; though I like them.

Hmm, I forgot about all the other places, scratch the ones I first said. I'll just put them in the order I like:
The World of the Belgariad and the Malloreon(check them out, they're a good series of books.), Middle-Earth, Krynn. Kender, they're a funny race. Quote:

I haven't read much Eddings and I haven't read Dragonlance. So would some of you care to elaborate, if only for my benefit?

i wanna live in a world where you can live in whatever world you want! (like, if you wanna live in a Discworld world you can live there, but you can also live in Middle Earth, Anne McCaffery's dragon world, etc.) or if not, i'll stick with Mirkwood
ok, that probably confused some people!

GRONK will have to say Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy because only there does the simple joy of travelling into the past, killing a famous poet, then publishing his works under GRONK's name exist. Amber would be a fun world to live in too. In Amber GRONK could go into a shadow world, declare himself a god, and then send his followers to war against neighboring nations for no apparent reason.

I think he probably meant this:

GRONK doesn't believe in the word bully. GRONK believes in opportunity and the fools too blind to grab it. GRONK also believes in hitting things with large blunt clubs, but that can be done in any fantasy world.

GRONK, do you know what you just managed to do? You managed to almost quote the worst villain in the book I'm writing!
Quote:
Hmmm, perhaps you're right, Silverstripe. Maybe I'd better leave him alone . . . Really though, it is rather interesting to have someone like you on this topic. So far everyone, including myself, wants a really nice and beautiful place in which we'd be contented, happy and in charge. You, on the other hand, have a completely different world in mind, and I fear for its inhabitants Last edited by Lief Erikson : 12-17-2002 at 04:22 AM. |

Hmm GRONKs not sure he would want to be Sauron. Being Sauron would entail too many responsibilities. Sauron was also too big on the whole "destroy all that is good and sacred in the world" cause. GRONKs never been a big fan of causes. The last cause GRONK got truly into was when he embarked on a mystical quest to find out who stole his lunch. If GRONK was a ME character then he'd rather be a happy go lucky bandit. Then GRONK could attack the fellowship of the ring, steal the ring, and then mistake the ring for a delicious onion ring and eat it. GRONK would love to put the ring's supposed indestructibility to the test. Yeah, being filled with evil and impervious to all but Mount Doom sounds nice, but lets see the ring survive a trip through GRONK's digestive tracts.
