Sahara was absurd, and Constantine was too 'pulp' for my taste.

I watched Amélie for the second time.. It's a piece of art.
I also checked out Big Fish: it was okay, but nothing special, IMO.

I've seen Big Fish; it was okay.
I almost watched Amelie, but at the last minute didn't get to.

What? How can that be deemed NOT a good movie? Ok, so we hated the son...check.
Amelie...haven't seen it, but my sisters say it's rubbish. Just another excuse for french actresses to take their clothing off...

Well, I guess it depends on what "not that horrible" means ...as Bill Clinton once said "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is". ....ok, I'm just spewing nonsense.
But it comes down to this: I have not seen it, and if it is one of those movies where the sole character is pretty much only a nude mademoiselle, it aint worth seeing ...Nudity in movies is distracting, I can't believe you don't know that already...

Is is said in many ways.
I don't think there is anything necessarily immoral about nudity in movies. Although in some cases, I can see that it would be distracting. Like in Airplane. Nyeh nyeh nyeh. But seriously, it can be done artistically, and to good effect.

Yeah, I guess nudity can be distracting.. But you need to be strong, and try to focus on what's essential.. Though, in some movies, the nudity is the essential part.. X)

The Guardian. Well done! I didn't think Ashton Kutcher had it in him, really. He and Costner played off of each other really well, and the story was well-told. I really enjoyed it.
The Crucible. Wow! The acting in this movie was amazing; the way the actors carried off the dialogue was wonderful! And speaking of the dialogue, the writing was amazing! Hats off to Arthur Miller. I really enjoyed it for the writing and the acting, even if the story was a little.. different. Real good.

Pirates of the Caribbean: the Curse of the Black Pearl
Nope, hadn't seen it before.. Decided I'd take the chance to watch it when it was on TV. It was really quite alright, funny. I'm not sure if it was a good idea to make another one, though..
