I am about three-quaters of the way done with The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but I plan on reading The Restaurant at the End of the Universe; Life, the Univers, and Everything; So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish; Mostly Harmless; and Young Zaphod plays it safe... my goal for this school year.
Did I miss any...??

I finally got around to reading "Young Zaphod Plays It Safe". It was pretty funny, but I can see that it was probably hilarious fifteen years ago.

YAY!!
I love the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy!! it's so funny! 42!!
My friend has a site that will generate a random quote from the series... let me see if I can get him to give me the link again. (Some of the quotes are great!!) I've read all five books. Heh. Did anyone read, the long dark teatime of the soul? or something like that. I heard that evidently it was found on Adams computer after his death and someone finished it up for him and then they published it. Thats just what I heard though... I love the book. It's so funny... I admit, the humor is a bit adult-oriented, if you know what I mean, but it does make you laugh! Douglas Adams forever!! Tari

Teatime is about Dirk Gently, Norse Gods (specifically Thor), a girl, selling your sole to rock and roll (litteraly), an eagle, a sledghammer, and a coke macine.
Strange, init? NO! It's not voyager! *MRGFLMRGF!* It's the Enterprize from Next Gen.!!! *Rant rant* Sorry, I hate voyager. Anoyager rather.

How could your billing address be a name?
Hey that's cool! As long as your billing address is different than the address which they send it to. Ford is going to be mad at you when he gets the bill.

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency is a "ghost-horror-detective-whodunit-time-travel-romantic-musical-comedy-epic" according to Douglas Adams, and as someone who's read it, I can't describe it any better than that.
The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul is the Dirk Gently sequel, and is of a similar vein, except it involves Norse mythology. The Salmon of Doubt consists of various Douglas Adams essays and short stories that were written over the years, as well as excerpts from his never-finished third Dirk Gently novel. I highly recommend it... it was when I read his essays in Salmon that I realized what a true genius the guy was.
