I get it wayfarer. good one actually. In fact you can take the joke and prove that druids cannot be picked as a race or culture. Druid is a class of people. You can no more say a fighter or paladin or wizard is a race or culture than you can say druids are. They were an organized faction.
Also you cant pick them because they dont exist in ME. Yeah DnD!

While I have no idea why Lostyia brought it up in the context, she might be confusing the ancient Druids with the resurgent neo-Pagan, neo-Druid tradition, though I personally would not call that a culture either. Quote:
Anyway... Enough with druids. My favourite race is the Elves, especially the Noldor, because I'm completely obsessed, love their languages, and have read the Silmarillion several times too many...

My favorite race... hmm.....
I have to go with Humans and more specifically Hobbits. Hint Hint wink wink BoP. Hobbits just represent the good in this world. They are just so kidn and homely. They have their flaws but they are just so cool. I mean c'mon they perfected pipweed. And btw they are so cool.

What's there to back out of? Druids are NOT a race. It's that freakin' simple.

My Epic Druid uses his Wild-Shape ability and transforms into a Young Force Dragon and makes a full attack action against Lostyia Delr-Padroot. Claw-Claw-Bite-Wing-Wing-Tailslap-Quickened Breath Weapon.
You know, you're right. I can definitely relate to this. Er. Now look what you've made me do! *glare* Wayfarer, Away!

But then my mage uses teleport, teleports in fron tof you, teleports back with you and holds you accountable for being so mean. Then he whaps yoiu back on the hand and then wild shapes into an ancient wyrm. And kills everyone for having to argue about whether or not druids are a race. Then he says now that you mention it dragons are cool but favorite I dont know I mean c'mopn they dont really have any major roles cept Smaug. Now Eagles they are wicked awesome.

I know wyrm shaping doesnt really exist but they dont know that. Another cool race would have to be the dwarves. I mean they are just cool. Good in a pionch, fun, and probably the most loyal of the races. I dont know but I have a warm place in my heart for dwarves.

Err... *eyeshift* I guess that's off topic though, huh. Perhaps we need a D20 PowerPlay thread. There's all sorts of fun stuff that can be done with that topic.

Hey! The ELH is /totally/ core. You can do the whole dragon wild-shape with SRD material. You want to challenge me to a character-building match? (You know... it's not as easy, but we could have some fun with the LOTR RPG as well. ) Anyway.
Still orcs over here. The biggest reason orcs are the coolest race in ME is that they're the only 'evil fantasy race' I've ever seen that's even remotely realistic. The individual orcs that are shown in the LOTR are quite believable.

yeah sure Ill take you on. But only core books meaning players, dungeons, and monster. WHat are the rules.
Also orcs are wicked cool but the best I dont know. I mean they are believable but they are just not as big of characters. However Gothmog is definately my fav evil character. Whats everyones favorite non major race?

You know, you really talked a lot of crap about some people that don't even exist in ME. I was gone all this time and I didn't even mess a thing

Well I am just glad I didn't miss anything on this thread, unlike others.
Dragons are quite cool. Their whole immage rocks, but in Tolkien's books they don't really have stunning personalities. That sucks a bit - but then, the stories aren't exactly about the dragons, so it's understandible. |

I don't know, Both Smaug and Glaurung, were pretty smart - if not somewhat evil. I'd go even further and say that Smaug quite had style.
