Damn you! I have seven more.
The german was as you would expect, nothing different.
Funny, I'm also devoting the entire weekend to revision of chemisty and history...

EDIT - Dammit, stupid cookies. I'm Janny! Honest!

Actually history and stats didn't seem that bad. So bad I suppose.
I was surprised at my lack of joy at the end of it. I only gave a brief rendition of Song 2 in the happy thread...

Silly induction for us too... booooorrring....
I'm going to my old primary school tomorrow to help with their maths week. I missed the the first day of induction and carried out a survey of the entire school... heights, weights... beats talks on 'now A-levels are harder than you think...'

Freedom still hasn't hit me...

What are your plans post GCSE?

My cousin's completely lost, now they're over. She was crossing them all off, one by one, and saying - can't wait, can't wait!

And now they're done she's wandering around feeling there's something missing, and she should be doing something. She's even feeling guilty!

But she's got a job for the summer, so I s'pose that will help. And she's managed a couple of celebratory 'TG it's all over' parties already.

I'm only going to say this once, and I will say it very quietly. I got 11 A*s and a letter from the exam board for one of the top five marks in German.

Oh BRILLIANT!!!!

Well done indeed, Janny! So a great day for you - I'm so pleased

My cousin got herself two As, five Bs, and three Cs, which really surprised her, as she wasn't optimistic at all.

Hurray for Hemel's cousin!

And in honour of the occasion, Janny, I will for the rest of the day address you as... Your Holiness Most Exalted.

Enjoy it while it lasts

Heh! It occurred to me later, Janny ... wouldn't it have been irksome if you'd really fouled up on one of your GCSEs and only got an A!

Sun-star, have you just done your A levels then?

Sunny's gone to bed, but she got As in English Lit, History and German (and general studies) and a B in Politics.

And I've only got that 'really fouled up' crack about ten times...

and yes, it would a be a serious problem, okay?
