I like the phoenix. They are cool looking and good with healing. Plus I like this quote using a phoenix. "Like a phoenix I shall rise from the flames." It was used for the 9-11 attack.

I like almost all the mythical creatures in "Magical Creatures and Where to Find Them" by JK Rowling. Especially the Billy-wigs and the Chinese Fireballs.

From LOTR, I like Huan, the War hound. But my favorite of all time is the Phoenix, the bird of fire and symbol of creation through destruction.
But I hear the Albino Ferrets are on the rise now days.

Why are you confused? It just means don't mix religion with myths.

I have always been fond of Griffins. They are fierce, strong, majestic and beautiful.

Anyone ever hear of a Will o' the Wisp. They're rare, but I've actually seen one with my own eyes (it's just swamp gas, really. No big deal).
Of course, I've heard the snipe is even rarer (?more rare?) . |

I made up a bunch of creatures that are all in the family of the Noire morphs with Sycocy.
Like Sycoco: a lion body with spikes for a main and mew eyes. I like the mythocol creature werewolf. Awwwooo!!!

Just don't get bitten by one, or become one you shall!
If dragons had the same effect, I would walk up to one wearing a shirt that says 'BITE ME' all over it!

Not to nitpick, but they're both ideaologies, so Satan COULD technically come under mythology.

Crimeny - you all know Gryphons are the best. Now, if we were talking humaniod "beasts" (I use the term beast loosely) the best would be vampires.
Satan isn't a beast - he's an angel (fallen, of course) so he doesn't technically count. He apparently "morphed" into something else, but his origins are of Seraphim. Now demons, however, they can count as mythological beasts (they were around before Christianity). Last edited by Rána Eressëa : 08-05-2002 at 03:17 AM. |

Can we count Satan as a humanoid beast then, in the loosest possible sense? (C'mon, I've read Anne Rice, I know how closely the two are intertwined... )
