You can have that section(I was surprised no one had chosen it yet!), and we are saying everyone may have two at this point, so if you want another one that's unassigned as of yet, just let me know. |

I'm so stupid Azalea. I only realised recently that when you were talking about discussing a book that I've already read- you meant THIS discussion, LotR. I'd waited for a while in the Literature forum, wondering what book you were talking about. Last edited by Linaewen : 03-18-2004 at 05:22 AM. |

I can't to see it, Lin. Should be very interesting.
So, who gets the part in the ROTK where Frodo sends Sam home?

*Hi ho, my ears are bleeding. Must be people talking about the movies in the book forum again.*
Lin -- sorry about that! I could have told you, I guess, but I thought it would be fun to make it a surprise for everyone. |

In this place will I abide, and my heirs, unto the ending of the world.' 'Then Tuor arrayed himself in the hauberk, and set the helm upon his head, and he girt himself with the sword; black were sheath and belt with clasps of silver. Thus armed he went forth from Turgon's hall, and stood upon the high terraces of Taras in the red light of the sun. None were there to see him, as he gazed westward, gleaming in silver and gold, and he knew not that in that hour he appeared as one of the Mighty of the West, and fit to be father of the kings of the Kings of Men beyond the Sea, as it was indeed his doom to be; but in the taking of those arms a change came upon Tuor son of Huor, and his heart grew great within him. And as he stepped down from the doors the swans did him reverence, and plucking each a great feather from their wings they proffered them to him, laying their long necks upon the stone before his feet; and he took the seven feathers and set them in the crest of his helm, and straightway the swans arose and flew north in the sunset, and Tuor saw them no more.' -Of Tuor and his Coming to Gondolin "Oh. Azalea, would it be a good idea to create a sub-forum for the LotR discussion threads, like it has been done for the Silmarillion project?

Yes, it would be a good idea. However, the admins have decided (for a couple of reasons) that if a subforum is created for it, it will not be at the present time. But it is a good idea.

Judging by the list of chapters on the first page of this thread, you're not too late yet. There are still some chapters open. But they're later chapters, so it may take a while before they get discussed. But see for yourself.
