The board was started in Sept. of 1999 on ezboard. When we moved we had about 800 members or so (the old board says we only had 300+ but that total is wrong). When we set up the current board we could not transfer users, just posts....so everyone had to reregister, some did and some did not.

Thanks again. I was just plugging away at when the moot would hit 2,000 registered users. Since it's reincarnation new members have been joining at a monthly average of about 118/month. I'm sure there are seasonal fluctuations (less in the summer, more around the movies releases.) So my "educated" guess is that somewhere in or close to December 2002, Entmoot will welcoming it's 2000 member. Of course they maybe other factors which could affect this, like admins removing inactive members or wholesale bannings of people who spend too much time trying to figure out when the 2,000 member will join.

Numbers can be your friends.

The 1000th member was "Tater's Other Screen Name." I don't really want you counting up or down to 2000 or anything higher. Its kind of spam

Uh, start a thread when it has like 10 (preferably less) members to go. Not like 30 or so (which was when this was started?).
