Hmm, all my favourites have been mentioned, but here they go...

What's the strange thing about me, that I rarely pick favourites from the very-great-most-popular movies, but I discover them later ("him? in that movie too? aww ")

Al Pacino - first seen him in Devil's Advocate, wow

Kevin Spacey - K-PAX

Sean Connery - watching James Bond with my dad (not appreciating it that much don't hit me!) then I took him to watch Finding Forrester (and he liked it!)

Jude Law - in Gattaca, & Talented Mr Ripley. And in A.I.

um, and Sean Bean fans, let me join.

btw, any Johnny Depp fans seen Don Juan deMarco? I'm not *so* crazy for him, but that movie... great one!

Do they have to be actors that are alive & working today? If not, then I say Marlon Brando, especially anything from Godfather on back.
Actors still alive & working - let's see, Christopher Walken's the bomb, Jack Nicholson - especially younger Jack Nicholson. Johnny Depp, of course. Hmmm... there's a few more, just can't think right now...

YES, I really like Joaquin Phoenix. River Phoenix was way better though; man I wish he didn't die.

My sister was/is a big River Phoenix-fan. Not seen much of his stuff myself, but from what I've heard it seems like Holywood lost a huge talent with his death...

Marlo Brandon, Johnny Depp, John Cleese, Sean Connery and a whole buch of others whom I can't remember right now.

I am a big fan of Joaquin Phoenix, also!

I think it is the M. Night Shyamalan movies that did it for me.

That reminds me! Antonio Banderas (I loved him in Mask of Zorro. Anthony Hopkins did a great job there, too )

V. Mortensen's an awesome Aragorn although I wouldn't personally go so far as to call him a god...
Johnny Depp is absolutely one of my faves, too; and Schwartzenneger is THE BOMB!!! For real.
