It is April Fool's, isn't it?
Go figure. I am out of school for Spring Break so there is no one to make a fool of. :-( ;-) Where did April Fool's Day come from anyway? Anyone know?

Marmite is a nummy yeast-based spread, traditional in places like Britain, and areas of the commonwealth.

Yay it's Me9996! *hugs* Long time no see buddy.
When we get to the Teacup Cafe MMMMMMMMMDCCCCLXXXXVI it should be dedicated to you. I have a feeling you should be able to write that like this: MMMMMMMMMCMIVC

Actually, Roman Numerals can only count so high. It's around three thousand something. You can only have 3 number-symbols at once, e.g. MMMXXXIII.

Aha, that means you can write CM for 900 then.
So the most we could have is MMMCMIC? 3999? I feel like you can't write IC for 99. LXXXXIX? That violates the three symbol thing. Are you saying the Romans couldn't write numbers higher than 3999? That makes no sense. How would you report there were 4058 casualties at a battle? Or order 7000 tiles for a courtyard? I'm sure they had some way of doing that. edit: aha! Quote:
Then 9996 is IX(<-line above)DCDIVC

*Thankyou Glomps RJT*
That was for working for the god of Irony and bringing up the name Illyria multiple times during the week when I was puzzling over the orgin of the coin I was assigned for my Greek History numismatics project. The coin turned out to be from Apollonia, Illyria. *wanders off to find tea.*

Terribly sorry Merry, didn't mean to make you "shudder". I liked Merry and Pippen in the movies, thought the essence of their characters were caught right, even if every little detail wasn't there.
*take 'beer' and plate of bacon* Thank you. I see you've gone phantom.
