Turgon the oven? I've heard Turgon the Wise before... but that's a new one...

Finrod and Friend kind of go together.... you know, Friend-of-Men and all.

Untill they make a LotR LEGO set that is a bit over the top.
I hope they make a LotR LEGO set (Does that make me over the top?)

They do have SOME Lotr LEGO sets, but I don't own any. People stopped buying me LEGO's when I turned 13

They do!

I love legos, I don't care. Now that I'm thirteen I'll just do more advanced ones .

I'm not! When I turned 12, everyone got upset at me for buying $200 worth of legos. What do they care? It's not like it was their money, at least not at the time I used it .

This one is actually pretty scary... and I have to say that for once it's not me (it was Embladyne instead )

We were eating lunch with some friends, and having a quite serious historical discussion about technology, trade, and travel. And then out of nowhere she goes and throws Sea-elfs in as an example!

Oh gods, I think our science teacher needs to make a sign saying "Using Tolkien as an example is NOT a relevant fact!"

The Sillmarillion + Biology Class = BAD MENTAL IMAGES!

It was not random, and they were a valid example.
I was talking about people wanting to travel for the purpose of exploring, and love of traveling by sea.

Tolkien and Biology. I remember those days... For me it was just the really movie-obsessed boys that would randomly tack pictures around the room that said stuff like "the battle is over, but the war for Middle-earth has just begun", and then named our lizard Gwindor son of Edrahil or some such thing, saying it meant Spider Man!

Yeah, but we were discussing Real World history, not the Silmarillion and Middle Earth! And then suddenly... "yes, well the sea elves..."

Reading a sign in the campus center as I was walking through, I thought I saw "ERU"...really it said "FLU"....

And there's another poster all over campus with the letters H.O.M.E.
I always expect it to say something about Tolkien....and am disappointed.

Only Eru knows.

And when you say stuff like that... you know you have a problem.

May the Force be with you.

Over and out.

Hey! It's 1:40, what do you expect?

You know you are obsessed with LOTR when

you use book quotes and just expect everyone to get the joke.
