Wait, I'm confused. Because you got a full scholarship at one school you have to ask a different school to let you in?

Or are you saying that because you didn't accept their admission offer in time, now you have to ask them to accept it late because they offered you a scholarship and you want to go there?

School A: Gave me a decent scholarship to do an MA in literature.
School B: Waitlisted me for financial aid.

I waited until right around April 15, then accepted @ School A. Then on April 18, School B gave me a full tuition scholarship for a theology doctorate. Since I've already accepted @ School A, and it's past April 15, extracting myself from School A to go instead to School B could get squicky.

I spent the whole afternoon calling the English DGS at School A, but to no avail. I'll try for a while tomorrow, and if I don't get through, just send him an e-mail, though I'd rather show the courtesy of doing this over the phone.

Finally got a hold of the DGS at A, and he's giving me the release without a fuss. Yay! Now I'm having trouble figuring out how to pay my enrollment deposit @ B. Quel horreur!
