Hey, guys, don't be too downhearted. Life could be worse, ya? Here, Nautipus, my friend, have a Dr. Pepper (I know ya want it, and I don't care if sodas are taboo in here). You can have one, too, Katya... and anyone else! I got plenty of soda!

Katya, I know how ya feel. I've got several good friends I'm gonna miss over the summer now; that includes my girlfriend whom I won't get to see for the better part of three months...

Hmm, that's too bad. What can I pour the two of you? Any preferences? If not, it'll be ordinary Heineken or Grolsch...

*dramatic sigh* How to find something when you don't know exactly what you're looking for and where to look?

Oh well, back to work.

You'll know it when you see it, Mari.

Hard to tell this joint is full of healthy young people in Spring. Sounds like an old folks home in February.

Me too. I had a bunch of sugar and caffeine before my exam. I figure, even if I crash later, if I can make it through the exam being fully alert, then it's worth it.

To Angband with this essay!

Of course, it may be the last stupid little essay I shall ever have to write in my life. Should I be sad about that? Well, I'm not.

711/2500 words. Getting there.

You can do it.

Pretend you're opposing Morgoth. Academia is close.

Only close?

Muster your words and drive
forward the pen! Fear not
the scholarly muddle
for day shall come again!
And your paper shall
be done by then.

...can you tell poetry class is getting to me?

Love it, Willow, and sis is right - I am thinking that academia is a bit like Mordor right now. But this is the LAST ESSAY I SHALL EVER HAVE TO WRITE (well, of little essays anyway. I still have a master's thesis and a doctoral dissertation in front of me...)

1277/2500. More than half!
