Don't encourage them, please, RÃ*an. I've been mopping up all day, they've tracked mud all over the place.

Not that most people would have noticed, or nothing we couldn't put a lid on pretty quick.
But let's say the Black Gates of Spamdor opened wide last friday and we had to rearrange our plumbing system a bit to take all the trash out. |

I do have the best timings, then... Hope you - and everyone else - is doing well.
I just recently bought a violin - for 50€, too. From a flea market. (Who on Earth leaves a perfectly functional violin there? AND who sells it for 50?) I'm damn lucky.

Ciao Noble Elf Lord!
Well, in *Middle* Earth, they leave nice things laying about all the time, for any nutso pre-historic hobbit to take off to the hills with. See: Extremely Powerful Magic Ring, i.e. "The One Ring," Exhibit A, to begin with. So it can't be totally unheard of to find a beautiful violin for a great price, right?

The 'Moot scares me since the last week, I'm so sorry but it does. I absolutely loathe spammers, & it's like a plague of them every day this past week, gives me major creeps. I know our beloved mods & admins are doing their best to eradicate this pernicious plague, tho; much love to them *kisses*

Aye, but that particular Ring wasn't exactly on a shelf, in a box, with a price tag... did it? And Earn, my dear sis has kindly taken that responsibility... she announced she's - quote - bought a flamethrower for it.

I just picked it up last year... can't really afford a teacher, so I'm trying to learn a little bit without picking up bad habits. I would love to have a few lessons sometime though... On a slightly related note, my mother is amazing. She is VERY good at playing the piano and last Saturday, she made a trip to the local music store. While she was there, she found a book of... THE LEGEND OF ZELDA SERIES SONGS!!! She's practicing playing them and when my brother comes home for Christmas, she's going to surprise him by playing them for him! I'm pretty excited to help her pull it off. EDIT: My browser is showing me this ad at the top of the page here: "Click here to see your arrest record." As if someone would forget...?

Maybe some have lost count? Not that I would know, of course.
I didn't know they'd make scores of computergames, sounds like a really cool thing. |

*Suddenly, Korean pop music blares forth. Lotsy bounces in, deadpan Gangnam-Style dancing through the front entrance, sideways across the length of the cafe, & out the back door. Song abruptly ends. *

Hey everyone, remember me?! Long time, no see, no doubt. Anyway, thought I'd just tuck in for a cup of tea and ask a question. Seeing as I'm not exactly which thread to post it in.... Well, with the Hobbit coming up, I'm sure Entmoot is getting more activity! That should be fun!
Anyway, I've seen the term "Ringer" lately as like a LotR fandom thing? I was wondering if this was an "official" term like "Trekker/Trekkie" "Whovian" etc. I don't know why, it's been bothering me. Thoughts? Edit: bothering me because I'm not sure, not because I don't agree with it xD

Don't recall hearing it in any official/general capacity, don't really care for it either.
But then again, I thought the correct term for us was Pervy Hobbit Fanciers. So what do I know? |
