Wondering about the relationship between that and monogamy.
Or polygamy, polygyny. polyandry, polyamory....

No, I wont, 'nab' it. Geeze.

I will take it, grab it by the throat, throw it to the ground, kick it, spit on it, set it on fire, and then shoot it with a hand gun till it agrees to be my slave .

Perhaps there are other measures to take first?

That's no way to treat a note.

C'mon, Tessar: beat that note! You can do it! *cheers*

Vent: Get me out of here. I cannot take it anymore. There is no place to take what I am feeling and dump it--actually, there is, but it's extremely difficult to let it go. Why is self-pity so addicting? But it all freaking HURTS!!

(the above is not supposed to make any sense whatsoever)

It does. And doesn't. I'm not sure I understand... How is it addicting?

Someone say something funny.

My sense of humor is entirely eroded by the stress of getting my year end report in, and during production week, at that.

Hate people, hate numbers, REALLY hate taxes.

I know it's not nice of me to ask, but will you rain dammit?! I need lots of rain, torrents, thunderstorms, just like this afternoon! I don't care if the sewers get clogged a bit again, they'll manage. Anything to rain out the parallel-street neighbours who are planning AGAIN on an unannounced loud party! And it sounds like they even got louder boxes this time. I absolutely refuse to be kept up until 5 am again! Need. More. RAIN!!

Fne, they'll probably have a tent anyway. Bastards.

Doesn't your area have noise ordinances? Here, the police will shut down loud parties.

If I recall correctly all residential parties have to be quiet by 3 AM. One can call the police on those that don't, but to be honest, I've never tried so myself. Never had to, either. But I'm planning to do so tonight, if they go on again like last time.
