Nothing is certain. Always we have to live with what we get. Sometimes we get more of the good of the bad, and some people get the reverse. I'm glad to have seen more of the good in the last two years. Where there's love, there's always hope ... unless there's not! I guess we're not all that different, except in the ways that we are!

I hope some progress to happen next week. <3 BTW, I'm gonna make some sushi rolls on Sunday. If I'll get the blender to make the wasabi...

Yuck, wasabi. Though it's edible in small quantities I suppose. But sushi rolls sound good! You should make em with egg
Have fun! Sunday we are going to have our starting-weekend from church, which means that this whole weekend fun things are being organized like a volleyball tournament (which I cannot compete in this year since my mum and sis i.e. my teammates, are not present), a talent show and tomorrow there's an outdoor service in the woods. It's always a lot of fun since all churches participate, of almost all denominations.

Morning, all! Actually it's almos noon here, but I just woke up . I saw Inglorious Bastards for a second time last night - gosh, it's so effing good! It's hysterical. If you haven't seen it, SEE IT. If you've already seen it, SEE IT AGAIN. Haha, well you don't have to take my advice, but I'm just saying.
I have this overwhelming urge to play Wind Waker, so I might go and do that... (is this my 1,000th post?) Nope -.-. Dammit! I missed it!

I think it is absolutely essential that, at this moment, I mention that Sir Isaac Newton is not to be trusted.

Besides for the whole thing about almost destroying Gaia with his destiny prognostication machine, and the "zone of absolute fortune" and what not, why is Newty-pants not to be trusted?

Ever hear about how the guy treated his colleagues? And even worse, how he treated his scientific papers? LOL

Yes, I have heard some bad things about him. I heard he was rather grouchy too.

Anyway... I have important stuff to take care of, so I'll be around on and off today! First task: Have to go post the prologue to Thus Spake Zarathustra in a "Bed time stories" thread on another board.

I've been sitting here so long for the page to load (dial-up heh heh) that now I've forgotten what I wanted to say. Which kind of bothers me a lot...
... .... ..... OH! I remember. I was just thinking how I applied for Homecoming Court as a kind of joke amongst my friends, but now I realize that I will kind of be put out if I don't get chosen, which is kind of slim to none, but still. It would be very cool, even though it's "not my thing" per say. (I thought I'd just rant for a second...).

Ugh, I'd never had the guts to even run. You have my vote though, that's for sure. At my school you won Homecoming by selling tickets or something weird like that.

LOL. I find that funny that seeing me automatically associates me with that election. As I like it. Quote:

I can totally see how such a thing would be a "joke" to enter. All that popularity stuff is a joke. In-crowds are comprised of the biggest, most egotistical jerks that ever lived. It takes nerve, though, to enter something like that as a joke. Now if you do get picked, how are you going to handle it???

I'm so used to hanging out with people who are cool in their own groups that when I go to school to work I realize just how geeky I actually am. The high school I sub at is mostly rich preppy kids, too. At first I thought maybe I would be cool because I'm grown-up and I know how to live in the real world and do exciting, grown-up things, but I'm not cool at all. I'm a weird old lady now.
