I am starving! I had a couple fillings done today and my mouth has been numb for hours. Feels funny when I drink too. But Teacup food never tastes funny or is hard to chew. I've been wanting some cake. Yellow cake with chocolate frosting. I wonder if there is any? |

I always hated dental work more than pretty much anything. It's the reason my front teeth are crooked! Because it's not worth getting them fixed, haha. Especially not if I had to wear a retainer at night for the rest of my life. Forget it.

I had braces way back in the day...
Wasn't so bad, really. I have a retainer, but it's permanent, it's not like I have to take it off and clean it or anything.

I had braces for 4 years, and then I wore the retainer until my mom said it was probably ok to stop wearing it, and then my teeth shifted. Braces were torture for me and nothing's worth a life sentence of having to have the retainer so, I figure I'll just move back to Japan or somewhere where they don't care about crooked teeth.
