*jaws drop* AWEsome! Thanx for posting, RÃ*an. Whenever I decide to dive into Tengwar on the net, in a VERY short time I get overwhelmed by the information and need to do something else [to escape cyberspace wanting to swallow me ] ... seems I always miss some of the best parts.

Hmm, so yesterday I had a TERRible lecture. It could easily win an award like "Most Boring Lecture of the Ethnography Faculty". Or come in as a close second. Meh.
And what it has to do with the Tengwar thread... well, this is the result of it. You can see some of my close-to-illegible handwriting as well. Oh, and the fonts... Only ones I could find were not really Tengwar fonts. I mean Tengwar-shaped characters, but without any logical pattern. Definitely not Tolkien's Tengwar.

I practiced a little more and I wrote what I call a rosetta. I suggest troll's bane and littleadanel don't look because it's *gasp* on lined paper.
The one who can spot the archaeogical reference in the name gets a cookie.

Archaeological reference in the name? You mean "rosetta"? Because the rosetta stone was written in a couple different languages and thus scholars were able to figure out one of them (Egyptian?). Your beautiful paper is written in romaji and runes and tengwar? Is that what you meant? I`ll accept the cookie either way.

Here we go. Here's a Tengwar font download. No guarentee on how "Canon" it is.
