I just wish I could advice you about free websites - I gave up on them several years ago and chose a paid service instead.

Thanks varna - I have considered a paid service which I found while searching the internet - and there actually was one which was fairly cheap - but I want to be able to dld my own pages and stuff - not conform to the preset designs of the site.

Yes, you should definitely go for a service where you can upload your own files and design your own pages. I don't like webpage templates.

Hi all Mooters!

Ive begun the job of copying and deleting all my material placed on my webpage - due to the persistant and annoying mismanagement of all YAHOO functions by its owner, and since apparently they dont give a toss, so sod them!

Ive decided to move to a new, more reliable, and furthermore, Swedish, site which Ive just registered on.

Hope to be back online fairly soon.

Greywolf, it shouldn't take you much more than an hour or so to copy your stuff if you can just transfer the HTML files directly. Or are you doing something special?

No, Tessar, nothing special - but it proved to less easy than I first imagined to move my material to the new site - I have to have a ftp-program first of all. And I have been tipped off to one by Varna.
