Actually - I thought you were being clever and throwing in words that give an ironic twist to the actual quote. We used to play that game with one another.

Do you use a particular methodology when you get stumped? Sometimes I try inserting a letter in a blank - starting with 'a' and just going through the alphabet - and seeing if a word jumps out at me. I'll try it with the first blank, and I might try it with a later blank.

PS: both of your words that "expressed frustration" had a couple correct letters.

Even so sounds weird to me in that context, but only 'so' fits there, and the only words I can find that work there are Spanish ones (i.e., "eres").
