Gollum

I once sent a PM on Entmoot and posted on HVEL while in my experimental computer-based math class. We had free time to finish a project, and I already finished it, so I went to a π website, then came here.

I have more respect for you than you will ever know.

I can do the Elvish, at least... I write in an odd mix of Tengwar and Japanese hiragana when I'm really bored in classes. That gets interesting...

In your chinese civilization class...where the first assignment is to sketch an informative map of china for your use during the semester (not due for 2 weeks yet)....you think about the map of ME in your head, and how easy it would be to just make a sketch of Numenore....with all it's features...

In your DT class you decide to make a moving model of the Ring with the fire writing on it.

What's DT stand for?
(I love how I'm not the most obsessed...as evidenced by this thread.)

That sounds like a cool class. In my composition class (music) I'm planning on writing a choral peice in early Spanish rennaisance style...with the lyrics in Quenya...because I don't feel like using church latin...or lyrics.

Heheh, been there too! Except in my case it was a mix of Angerthas and the few chinese characters I know from an old computergame.

I must say it is kind of funny when you go through your notes again while studying for an exam and you see all the 'I'm really, really bored right now' and 'help!' in runes again.

Next time try alphabets, that's easier. And for those with little language skills *coughmecough* also more pleasing.

I've already volunteered to do the translations for her.

I started writing essays to myself in Japanese all over my notebook, all about how horrible and boring the class was. And then I would start writing out Silm characters' names in Tengwar before realising I couldn't remember "F"... and then try the Chinese characters... before giving up and switching to a language I knew better...

I have one:
When you re-enact the Battle of Pellenor(sp?) Fields, using what ever you have. Such as those green army dudes for the Rohirrim, and toy elephants for the Oliphants, and a horse that is bigger than 'Theoden', because you don't have any of the action figures. (I actually did that last night when MB and I had to re-enact the killing of the Witch-king for her essay[But we did it usuing ourselves])

Note to self: reenact the Nirnaeth Arnoediad with brother's really, really old Star Wars figures. No... maybe my old beanie babies... I have an almost golden dragon! (More like dark brown, but oh well)

When you're really, really cold, the first thing you think about is the Helcaraxë...
