Someone put in Blues Brothers at my house last night... I didn't watch much of it. Terribly unimpressive.

For English Lit we watched Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman. A very sad ending...

That was an excellently acted film; Death of a Salesman. I'll tell thee what; Dustin Hoffman about drove me NUTS!! playing that little old man.

An Unfinished Life. Good acting.. I think the pair-up of Robert Redford and Morgan Freeman was an excellent choice. I've never really liked J.Lo, but that was her kind of role. And the jury is still out on... oh, for pete's sake. His name just left my brain. Josh someone.

Heresy! That's one of the greatest movies ever made. Unless you mean the second one, and in that case, I haven't seen it.

12 Angry Men. What a classic! I loved the way that the plot went, especially as votes continued to be called for. The end was great.
It was wierd seeing "Johnny Friendly" and "Piglet" sitting next to each other. (I forget their actual names)

That is a fantastic movie. If I ever find it on DVD, I think I'll have to get it.

Well spoken! And don't bother see the second one, it don't actually sucks, but it is not far from it.

Just got back from the cinema, saw X-men 3, which was very cool. And the ending(s) was just amazing. Really cool.

The one with John Belushi and Dan Akroyd--"They can't get caught; they're on a mission from God." Yes, it was dumb.

Pride and Prejudice. The new one. Very visually interesting; beautiful sets, costumes, etc. And Keira was as gloriously pretty as always (maybe more so). I loved the cinematography. Lovely! But most of the acting was poor, the script was poorer, and the story-telling in general was miserable, IMHO.

The DaVinci Code. Interesting. Thought-provoking, and laughable at the same time. A rather weak plot, I thought. But nevertheless well executed. Paul Bettany was brilliant, Ian McKellen entertaining. And of course all the historical doo-dads were fun. Dissapointing end, though.

I went to see The Omen yesterday. I must say that I was very disappointed with it. The storyline was interesting, but the acting and the "horror" scenes weren't that good. Does anybody know if the old version is any better?

Firewall. Predictable. The characters were all rather dense. Kind of corny, in a way. I didn't like it, save for Paul Bettany's performance, which prompted me to rent

Wimbledon, which I liked a whole lot. I find myself, for some odd reason, drawn to more 'Britishy' movies. I disliked some of the humour in the film, but the story and the performances were very entertaining. I liked that it wasn't just some sappy romantic-comedy; it was also about tennis, something which I don't get into much. I liked taking a look at the sport.
