Yeah, but "multiple truths" is no truth at all.

"Truth is not the same for all and yet it may be truth."

Adjusting the sentence by alterring one word makes the sentence make sense. "Belief is not the same for all and yet it may be truth."

The Old Testament books of the Bible offer an exciting look for many scholars at history that they would get from no other cultures. The fact that you know about David and Solomon's sins at all is impressive and indicates the Old Testament to be very unique among the texts of history. Most cultures from that time period did not chronicle any error in their leaders.

And all of this has nothing to do with how to teach evolution in Kansas.

You can always make a new topic. There are plenty of topics now though - creationism, evolution, religious topics.

Perhaps not, but neither has most of this discussion, including many attempts by someone to invalidate a historical document that has been considered a corroborated piece of history since before his great-great-grandparents were thought of.

Well, there are some, including myself, that think it would be better placed in a philosophy or world religions class.

I'm back from Arizona - I'll pick out some more bits to share/discuss from the proposed Kansas changes in a few hours.
