Happy - I met another Mooter! (for a grand total of 2 now)

My husband and I went to Santa Paula to stay at a quaint little inn for a one-night getaway from the kids (our 20th anniv. is Wednesday, but our son is having surgery tomorrow, so we can't get away on Wed.) We had time to pop by Thomas Aquinas College where Gwai is, and found out which dorm he was in, and so we walked to the dorm, and Gwai was coming up the walk and I recognized him and we met! Fun! Gorgeous campus, too - really lovely.

Yay for both.
Though most of the time I drink fruit tea, which technically isn't tea... Anyway.

I carry a teabag or two in my purse at all times. We tea-drinkers have to fend for ourselves in a coffee world!

My mother drinks tea ALL the time, and though I initially preferred coffee, I found it much easier to ask her to make a cuppa for me while she was at it. And, now I love tea!! And, yes, a nice cup of tea early in the morning with my breakfast makes me happy...

Three cheers for tea! One of my favourite things to do is to just sit down with friends and have a nice pot of tea. It's so great, and like the hookah ( ) it tends towards social interaction, at least when there are a number of people who drink it. I suppose it wouldn't in your situation, though; ah well, it's an end to be pursued for itself, as well.

That was so cool, Ri! I was just walking up the sidewalk, and I saw you two standing there. At first, I just thought, 'Ah, more visitors' (because they're fairly common on weekends), but then I looked a little closer at you, and thought, 'Y'know, that looks like Rian. Hmm...She said she was going to be in Santa Paula today...' and sho' nuff, it was you! You'll have to come again some time; I'll give you a little tour of the college.

I can't remember her name - she joined a few years ago and posted like crazy in the Tengwar thread with me. I mentioned archery and she was very interested, and I found out she lived in the town next to us so I told her about the archery range I used to shoot at. We met there - she was very nice. Much quieter than her on-line personality! Then I had to have surgery and couldn't shoot for quite a while, and when we went back she was gone from both archery and Entmoot.

Yeah, we'll have to come back for a tour sometime, Gwai, that would be fun I'm glad you posted your new picture when you did, because I wouldn't have recognized you otherwise. And it was cool that we just "happened" to bump into a guy that knew you by my description (your first name and the country you had just come from), and that you just "happened" to not go out of town like you had planned, etc., and you just "happened" to be walking up to your dorm right when we were there, etc.!

Yellow Paint? is it oil-based? I always endup stepping in my dad's drips of oil-based paint. my most recent color was a really neat burgandy.

My dad likes to paint. Our living room changed colors about five different times in about two weeks and the trim was four different colors at one time. We like to play with paint here. Colors are good!
