I was thrown off because it's a dredge spoil pile, and a lot of the fossils were from a period I'm less familier with, not that I'm the world expert, anyway.

My friend got a gorgeous perfect echinoid, but I was unsuccessful in stealing it.

Here's what I was gathering, muchly.

All we have to remember this guy.

Nice, Sis. Thanks for sharing. The belemnites reminded you of me? That's sweet. pelecypods are neat too, but i would indeed be happier with the belemnites. Cephalopods are always good things to find. I've always wanted to go to the burgess shale and look at those fossils there. And I've always wondered what it might be like to find anEndocerid fossil. Couldnt get it home, but it would be nice.

BTW, check this baby out. http://www.bowdoin.edu/~dbensen/Spec/Baleen-squid.htm

Funny stuff.

I've seen some of his stuff before. He's a good singer, but a bit out there for my tastes, and nothing particularly amazing about the voice coloring that would make me want to listen to it despite the oddity, sooo... *shrugs*

He is, in fact, a good sopranist. But his look... It's so bizarre. It intrigues me, in the same way that Bollywood intrigues me..."what the hell?"

Yeah, I mean he's definitely good... no denying his technique seems to be pretty damn solid, but just... ergh, the quality of the voice is okay, but I'm not thrilled by it like I am by Jaroussky or by an actual soprano, so...

Funny stuff.
That is funny. Do they have a whole alt universe?

I do as much fossil hunting as I can, as well as various other things minerological. Some great stuff on my trip out west.

Has hector come after you yet for the classical music thread? Beware.

How's the cold and rainy motherland, today?

Cold and rainy?

At least it's just rain today, and not hail and sleet and snow like yesterday.

There's a classical music thread?

I studied classical voice for several years...

I have the hiccups, too.
