I don't mean this post to be a continuation of the debate in the Theology Thread at all.
I just want to apologize to Lotesse for my comment in that thread, on post 358. I was feeling pressured and didn't know how to respond to your posts, so I hoped to deflect some of the ill feeling that had entered the debate by diverting attention to something completely trivial. It was a pathetic and dismal attempt at humor. I didn't mean to come across that way, but I should have thought about how I would have felt if someone said that to me, before I posted. I am really sorry, Lotesse. And for everyone else, for my share in hurting the debate in the Theology Thread, I apologize.

Oh, please. Honestly, Lief. I didn't ask for any kind of apology, I despise apologies, please don't apologise to me babe. I adore it when people are themselves, "warts & all," without apology or fakeness. But I can't stand apologies...

The apology came from myself and was not fake. Aside from just saying that, I'll shut-up here now.

*steps up behind Lotesse and grabs her arms, waving them around and speaking in a falsetto voice*
"Oh, Lief, thank you so much for apologizing. I admit that I, too, have my faults, and think we should all just resolve this with lots of hugs, kisses, and then more hugs and kisses. [Something in Italian]. Also Tessar is amazing and we should hug and kiss him too. And offer him chocolate, money, and other such assorted things. He is also very good looking, and I think I speak for us all when I say that I, we, find him very attractive in a perfectly platonic way. Also he is a sexy beast. Rawr." *steps away, returns to normal voice* Well, Lotesse, what can I say? You flatter me. ... At least that's how I invision the last post having gone. |

Oh, SNAP!!!
Well, as Wodehouse says, “It is a good rule in life never to apologize. The right sort of people do not want apologies, and the wrong sort take a mean advantage of them.” True that! People change, it happens, that's the nature of the human experience, right? I truly do dislike this business of apologies and sorriness, even if I did post that first sentence a while back - still, can't stand all this sorry baloney. And Lief baby, I surely did not mean to give you the impression that I thought you weren't being genuine, I know you very well enough to know when you say anything it comes straight from the heart. You're very real, t'is true. You've always been yourself, as far as I've known you here, and I do have to admit I admire that. silly goose, good grief... OH!! and Dr. Seuss, how I love him, who says “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.”

I was just dazzled by Tessar's fabulous good looks and animal magnetism... I forgot myself. *staggers away, unable to remember why compelled to say that, and in such a silly falsetto, to boot*

you guys call this a venting thread???
The most interesting and intelligent thread on here for some time and it gets closed? *creeps up behind Tessar and waggles his arms around speaking in a falsetto (but increasingly harmonious) voice:* "I apologize most avidly and sincerely to BB, for not posting a sample of my new improved voice, and even more so fer not joining in my own happy thread conga, and more importantly, for being far too cautious on banning the renaissance thread! May i receive a signed and kissed photo oh Hotlips K in the post for my sincere forgiveness!" *arms crash around akimbo like spray at Cape Horn on a foggy night* -mmm - in the words of John lennnon - 'give peace a chance' re-open the renaissance thread - and maybe gives Lotsy's ills of Church thread a fair go! ... Lief - if you want to truly understand 'pressured' be me for a day. (Actually, can you do a Month? - i need a holiday! ) ... Nowt wrong with a sincere apology Lotsy - provided it is legit, esp on these text based boards - ... my Vent: Tessar is far too skilled as a ventriloquist, Singer and far too good looking. Can we mount his head in the Teacup cafe? Last edited by Butterbeer : 05-22-2007 at 05:46 PM. |

You Rebel! *kiss*
yeah, well, i didn'e see much of your thread - but some edits - but i guess that was a cast-iron call. No complaints - it'd be good to see it given a fair go though... But the renaissance /theology decision was a tad cautious, let us say. Not having a pop here, just, y'know, let's allow air to breath ... and then strangle the motha if it actually does turn into some sorta 'Aliens' scene. How are you Lotsy? Rare we are on much together these days! xx Last edited by Butterbeer : 05-22-2007 at 05:59 PM. Reason: Punctuation. |

I am wonderful-fine, dearheart BB! you've only just "seen" me a couple days ago, you know that... Can';t complain, can't complain - well, I suppose I could complain about a whole huge gigantic sack of things and if I were to, this'd be the place to do it, right? The Venting Thread? Nah - not gonna do it. Wouldn't be prudent... (mimicking George Bush Sr by Dana Carvey, anyone remember his parody of the presidents?)

I need to vent because BB is too busy to flirt with me.
I'm hoping it's just his schedule.... =8-O

Oh! Well, grazie molto for such a gracious invitation, dear bello! but I seriously do not have the time for online RPG-ing sorts of play-time stuff these days, in fact I am supposed to be finishing my research paper project today and instead have been dithering away frittering my procrastinatory time on message-boards like a bad and silly goose...
