2night: Netherlands versus Norway! Kick-ass time!!! (Actually I have no illusions.. this will be a really hard-fought match)

I just read an essay (you can find any book you like in my University's library. I drool when I walk along the shelves. Literally) concluding that Tolkien did not really write literature, in its purest sense, but was more in the genre of fairytales. It makes for an interesting POV on that difference, and how Tolkien's writing differs from prominent writes such as D.H. Lawrence..

Orders a cafe latte.

*passes teapot to Mari*

I know you don't like cheese, but I have a new 2 square cheese sandwich griller (pie iron). Should I put a jelly pastry on for you?

Yeah, put it on please. I usually don't like cheese, but in some forms and foods I do. I'm in the mood to try some of your stuff Sis.
*pours herself a cup of tea*
I just made hot chocolate for my mum, care for some?
*hugs Sis*

Lol. What did you write?

*Answering the futuristic post by Sis, I'll have cheese sandwich! I thought perhaps you thought I didn't like cheese since I recently displayed my intense hatred of cheesecake*

You needn't have cheese, dear, I can do a cheese for me and a jelly for you. As long as we're sitting by the fire, I hate to be idle in the food prep.

CH and GW? Cheese or jelly? You get the next batch.

We could bake a few apples on the hearth here, if anyone's interested.

And, is there any raclette cheese around? I have pickles and a few boiled new potatoes left over. Raclette is kind of an acquired taste, though.

Hey, did you learn about raclette cheese and pickes and boiled new potatoes in Zermatt, Switzerland, where I did? It's kind of a local speciality there. I haven't come across anyone else that has heard about that!

Thanks, chef, but no sandwich Just the raclette cheese with the pickles and boiled new potatoes. And yes, it's a bit of an acquired taste, Sis! I agree! But it grows on one.

Oh! Apples! So what happens with apples if you put them on the fire? I usually eat them 'raw'.
