I remember. But I have no idea what the difference between geometry and trig and algebra is. It's all math to me >_<

haha thats true. math is such a drag.
i used to love algebra, and math. then all of this happened! whatever happened to the simple way to solve for x? you know the whole easy: 15=3x deal. Now when you want to solve for anything its just a mess! like having to solve for f(g(x)) and vis versa g(f(x)), not saying that is too difficult, but gosh, what is the honest-to-God point?!

Math can get pretty messy. I'm doing matrix algebra now. If you have a matrix that's any more than 3x3 it's so messy to find the determinant... It's really easy to make a little mistake. I copied on digit wrong on the matrix when I copied it out of the book and spent sooo long trying to find where I made a mistake. >_<

Despite the fact that my voice is completely crapped out thanks to... whatever... allergies or something... something with no symptoms but a cough and general vocal crappology... I am super excited because tonight my Robert Goulet and my Bryn Terfel CD's came in... at the same time, despite my ordering them from two different companies!!!
Aaaaah. Robert Goulet. *melts* ^_^ |

That would drive me nuts - my allergies are too bad ... But I hope you enjoy it!
The guy in the shoe store t'other day had a tongue piercing - it bugs me when it makes them talk all sloshy, but whatevah ... (not everyone with a tongue piercing talks sloshy) My daughter wants to get double-pierced in one ear - I think I"ll let her do it this summer, and maybe I'll do it, too. I think it's kinda pretty with just a little diamondy-thing in the second piercing - a nice little asymmetrical look.

Yeah, fortunately I don't have any allergies. I think I'll enjoy it, I'm quite used to it already Personally, I wouldn't get my tongue pierced. It's a thick muscle in my mouth - can't be too nice when it's supposed to be healing. I don't mind other people having it, though, but if it made them sound strange I'd think twice
Those double piercings are quite pretty, yes. You should post pictures of it when you get it done!

Personally, I think double piercings in the ear look 3 times better than single.

I think I aced my math test today. I was a little nervous about there being proofs, but there weren't really. There were just a bunch of true/false logic problems that I knew right away. Yay! Also, finding the determinant of nxn matrices where n>3 is a lot easier when you use row operations (see above post). Sweet.

Yay! Have fun, Nerdy.
Happy: I'm finally feeling a little better today. I finished ED 201, I got a 94 on ^ mentioned math test, an A on my World Religions exam and on my ED 201 final, and Cryptonomicon is a really good book so far. |

Have fun, Nerdy! Remember, we'll want pictures afterwards!
I'm happy because I saw two peacock butterflies today! My favourites! I haven't seen any all summer and I've been looking mournfully at my dozens of asters that bloom beautifully but without a single butterfly on them. So little butterflies is a really worrying sight. Come on you guys, we've got a whole garden full of late-blooming flowers, just for you. Now I've seen two peacocks so at least they haven't kicked the bucket locally yet. Happy. Although I could do with more butterflies. More!

Little jewels, aren't they? I'd hug them if they weren't so fragile.
