I saw An American In Paris a couple of days ago.
It's one of the three best GK movies (the others being Singin' In the Rain and Anchors Aweigh)

^^Love that movie. "Hi! I'm Archie Graham!"
I've wanted, for some time, to do a Star Wars/Field of Dreams composite. I lack the technology, though. I would take the shot of Darth Vader waving his finger around at Captian Needa ("For your sake... I hope so," etc.), mute out the sound, and replace it with Terrance Mann saying, "I want to be left alone, I want people to stop looking at me as a public figure, and I want my privacy!" lol!

Batman Begins. Delightfully, surprisingly good! I'm not big on superhero movies, because they lack complexity and strength. This one had both. It was really good, for a superhero movie. The best, IMHO.

Bah, humbug. X-Men and X-2 are my favourite of the superhero movies released in the recent (read "last several years") rash (unless you count V for Vendetta; V's kinda super ). I didn't finish Batman Begins; fell asleep.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith. It was okay. Most of it was pretty entertaining.

Perhaps it's saying a mite too much of the movie to say the whole thing was this exaggerated metaphor for marriage, but that is what it seemed to me, and it was the biggest (and nearly the only) reason I liked it at all.

Behind Enemy Lines. My friend and I have lots of fun making fun of the Serbian sniper who habitually misses the good guy, even with a totally awesome gun with a scope. Although then the hero was just as bad a shot with his pistol.

Lie With Me

I wasn't exactly expecting the opening scene with the lead actress masturbating. Or the numerous nude shots. Despite all of this, the film stuck with me for a while. Quite artistic.

What a Girl Wants - Good movie.
Legally Blond - Great movie and VERY funny!
Robots - I thought it was a pretty funny movie. I had no idea that Ewan McGregor did the voice of one of the characters!

Stop torturing me! I saw part of it and I've wanted to see the rest ever since.

That movie is sad.

(sad as in depressing, not as in badly made or anything like that)

Shrek 2 - Very funny movie. It was a little random, but still good. I loved Puss in Boots!
