*gives Sis some chocolate* Nah, this morning I didn't have it yet. My grandmother gave it to me this afternoon.
I'm looking at books right now. I found money I had gotten for my birthday (but I had forgotten I had it

) so now I'm looking at buying The Narnia Chronicles, but I want to buy the old version, not the new print. I think I'll have to go to a used bookstore for it.
And I want to buy a 2-book series by David and Leigh Eddings called 'In Service of the Goddess' and 'Althalus' salvation'. I loved those books and have very important memories to those two.

Ah! Sou! How was the LARP'ing? What was the story? It sounds like so much fun! I wish I could participate in such a thing or a history enactment thing once. Though preferably something from before 1915.
We really should get the Quest back on the road. I can pretend we are doing it for real

The story was...well, didn't make sense there, and would make even less sense here.

Lotta random whacking about with swords, and a few people taking themselves too seriously. I had a turn as a major villain, so now the neighborhood children are traumatised.

Seriously, people wanted to hug me afterwards, just to make sure I wasn't truly transformed to evil.

I'm sure there are renaissance or medieval reenactors meeting just down the street from you. google it.

Hmm, I should have pictures of me as a witch in the schoolplay and of me as Maria. I always was Maria in the Christmas plays and got to sing the solo's as well. Ha! Take that Erika! >_< Oh! And pics of me in my mothers wedding dress! I wonder where I have those...

I found so many pictures while cleaning out my room (yeah I'm still working on getting my room livable) of schoolcamp and my trip to Berlin with my friends. Picture of celebrating Sinterklaas with them. I found one of me and my pet rat and of when I still had long hair. I don't have too many pictures with my grandfather though, that is really too bad.

I've been looking through some albums...kinda sad, in some respects. I see kids I taught who were young (and reasonably in shape) who are now old and fat and mean.

I wish people would live differently. Parents, especially. It makes me sad to see people lose so much because adults won't grow a spine.

Hmm, I didn't have that. I was more surprised that I actually had so many memories of those times still. My years in elementary school are pretty much suppressed most of the time.
But it is kinda sad to look back at good times and know that it'll never be like that again. (this isn't a general statement, mind you. I'm not that cynical)

*huggles* I remember most of my life with appalling clarity, except for setting my keys down.

I'm just not much for locks, so I have bad rapport with keys.

But most people get broken. I find that sad. They lose the ability to have fun and connect to simple joys. They get sucked into a lot of nonsense about status, and stop rolling down sunny hills.

When you do a lot with children, and you see the children over a period of years, sometimes you see the decay over time. It can be a little sad.
