And the last line should read: fatal was its bite. 'It's' is a contraction of 'it is'. 'fatal was it is bite' doesn't make sense.

Well, lets try this out....

I dont really know why
I should be remembered at all
I didn't really do anything
incredible at all

All I really did was play with a ring
Nothing more than that
shouldnt be an issue, such a small thing

But apparently it was,
part of some bigger thing
I still dont see why there was a big fuss
over some silly little thing

Its really vague, but hopefully someone can see right through it.

I was taken up with joy,
When at last he found me.
I was taken up in sorrow,
Ever in memory.

These were made up on the spot. Hopefully they'll at least stir some riddles out of y'all.
