Oh yeah, the first line doesn't fit (I thought she had it myself!). Hmm... and heirloom? I wonder if it's not even something that would be considered a 'weapon?? (then again, maybe it is)

Bard's arrow?

And the last line should read: fatal was its bite. 'It's' is a contraction of 'it is'. 'fatal was it is bite' doesn't make sense.

Thank you for your correct grammar. Remember kiddies, you never, ever say something like "I am going to lay down." Lie is the only correct word you can use there.

Oh dear, I'm going to become known as the grouchy grammarian, aren't I?

Anyway, back to the riddles.

Well, lets try this out....

I dont really know why
I should be remembered at all
I didn't really do anything
incredible at all

All I really did was play with a ring
Nothing more than that
shouldnt be an issue, such a small thing

But apparently it was,
part of some bigger thing
I still dont see why there was a big fuss
over some silly little thing

Its really vague, but hopefully someone can see right through it.

Ones who are too slow
Call me very fast.
Ones who are too fast.
Call me rather slow.
I am young to the old,
And old to the young.
I earned the name you guess
By interrputing one!

(kind of easy, maybe, but just to get things going, hopefully)

#2
Remembered was I
In the words of a dying king,
Forgotten was I-
Such a little, insignificant thing!

I lay in the pack of a small one,
He knew not that I was there.
I lay on the floor beside him,
An uncrowned king said he didn't care!

I was taken up with joy,
When at last he found me.
I was taken up in sorrow,
Ever in memory.

These were made up on the spot. Hopefully they'll at least stir some riddles out of y'all.

How can I take this losing hand and somehow win?

I've been chasing grace; Grace ain't so easily found
One bad hand can devil a man, chase him and carry him down.
I've got to get out of here, just give me One Good Year!
