You know, it's funny, but I've heard a LOT of people saying exactly the opposite. That if he WINS, it is the End of Days. I'm not even sure the people that are saying that care if someone other than McCain wins... just so long as that other ISN'T Obama. Honestly, I'd prefer it if McCain wins. I don't hold out much hope for the country's future (over the next four years) if Obama wins. Too much socialism and too little values for me.

That being said, I don't really think that McCain will win. He's been made too much fun of to be taken too seriously. Obama's got the media on his side, that's for sure.

I wouldn't vote no matter what. My opinion doesn't matter, probly because I'd prefer a revolution. Not just in Finland, but everywhere. I've lost my faith in democracy. It's not working as long as decisions are made by old, fat, corrupted, selfish, power hungry white men. Doesn't mean that white men and women couldn't make good decisions, though.

There was a girl at my university who voted by absentee ballot and she got a sticker, but it said "I voted" on the top and it had "Obama '08" on the bottom. She said that is what you got whether or not you voted for Obama or not. She seemed sad that she didn't get one of the neutral ones with the flags and things that they hand out at the polls.

I've not gone yet. I forgot when I woke and it didn't matter anyway, because I have to vote in my little outskirt-town place instead of in the city. But I might come back in because apparently, if you vote, you get a free sandwich from Chic-Fil-A, and Starbucks, Krispy Kreme and Ben & Jerry's are doing something similar to that too. That's like, almost a free date!

Noble, our politicians don't get paid all that well actually for the amount of work they put in. And we have quite a lot of young politicians. But here the politicians are either still convinced that every political group has to think the same and be very similar, or they are extremists who like to get attention.
In the first case there is hardly any originality to be found, in the latter case there is originality (sometimes), but it gets drowned out by the sheer idiocy of the people who come up with it.
If it is a reaaaally good idea though and the public picks up on it, the establishment will also look at it, but it takes them two years (if you are lucky) to have a committee examine it before they can either use it or discard it.

I think I should just start my own party. No idiocy, no conforming to everyone else; just common sense and some inspiration. Of course I would be open for cooperation with other parties as long as they won't steal all my good points.

I just bought some fry-bread and cookies from the native American boys (having a bake sale, there's always one going on) just because they reminded me of Jacob and his friends. It was really tasty though, and I think they thought I was cute.

I always watch it online later with my bf... he usually works on Wednesday nights. We love that show! But I could probably turn on the show and ignore it... maybe.

Yeah... I think they do go by those numbers.. so when I was in England I wasn't helping because I would download (or, as I like to say, I would have the fairies bring ) it later, lol..

I'm really rooting for it though, because it's my absolute favorite show right now and if they canceled it... well... there's not much else I watch lol..
