I'm not a fan of killing of characters if there's no need to. But Ingwionis is your character and you can kill him off if you want. But you should do it only if you think that's only solution left. Nothing prevents you from letting Ingwionis live where he is right now, so you can post again at some later time, if you feel like it. If you do kill him off now, and you come up later with an idea to do another post, it will be to late.
And you and Amy spent enough time to set up your own sub-story, so it seems a bit like a waste to stop it now so suddenly. You're not holding us up, so you don't have to worry about that. A lot of us are busy in RL so we're used to having hiatusses and such. I agree it may be difficult to rejoin the rest of the group if you'd want to participate in the finale, but I assume something can always be worked out.

Hm, at this point I can't garantee months, at least not in-game. Things may move quickly. In RL, that's a whole different story.
 And if you intend to rejoin the others, keep an eye on the timing. Only days have passed for the group since Ingwionis and A'mael left, while they already seem to be some weeks ahead.

I also hope he stays! We interacted for a little while to find out that our characters are distant family. It would be nice to carry on if they meet again later. His character is the only family my character has had on this quest, and she was sorry that he and his wife had to leave. She hopes to meet them again at some point.

Well I've finally jumped into LLL again! Nice to be writing Quickleaf's story again
I've made this map to draw up the separate journeys, but it's incomplete and so far I've only drawn up the paths where Quickleaf is concerned.
