Apparently you don't keep up on Broadway Musicals.

*usual flashy and expensive entrance, but surprisingly the band and dancers don't disperse*
I'm back from Kansas! It was a blast! How could anyone think Mcpherson was a boring town? More on that later...
I'd like to announce the completion and opening of the Quantum Town Space Elevator! I tested it myself, and it is spaceworthy. It is made out of weaved strands of carbon nanotubes, often known as carbon fiber.

*band starts playing*

Way down among Brazilians
Coffee beans grow by the billions
So they've got to find those extra cups to fill
They've got an awful lot of coffee in Brazil

You can't get cherry soda
'cause they've got to fill that quota
And the way things are I'll bet they never will
They've got a zillion tons of coffee in Brazil

No tea or tomato juice
You'll see no potato juice
'cause the planters down in Santos all say "No, no, no"

The politician's daughter
Was accused of drinkin' water
And was fined a great big fifty dollar bill
They've got an awful lot of coffee in Brazil

[instrumental break]

You date a girl and find out later
She smells just like a percolator
Her perfume was made right on the grill
Why, they could percolate the ocean in Brazil

And when their ham and eggs need savor
Coffee ketchup gives 'em flavor
Coffee pickles way outsell the dill
Why, they put coffee in the coffee in Brazil

No tea, no tomato juice
You'll see no potato juice
The planters down in Santos all say "No, no, no"

So you'll add to the local color
Serving coffee with a cruller
Dunkin' doesn't take a lot of skill
They've got an awful lot of coffee
An awful lot of coffee
Man, they got a gang of coffee in Brazil!!

She gets too hungry, for dinner at eight
She loves the theater, but doesnt come late
Shed never bother, with people shed hate
Thats why the lady is a tramp

Doesnt like crap games, with barons and earls
Wont go to harlem, in ermine and pearls
Wont dish the dirt, with the rest of those girls
Thats why the lady is a tramp

She loves the free, fresh wind in her hair
Life without care
Shes broke, but its ok
She hates california, its cold and its damp
Thats why the lady is a tramp

Doesnt like dice games, with sharpies and frauds
Wont go to harlem, in lincolns or fords
Wont dish the dirt, with the rest of those broads
Thats why the lady is a tramp

Anyway, the space elevator looks great.
At the top is a ballast "asteroid" (it's actually a geometric shape consisting of five pyramids touching base to base with a square on the bottom).
Next is to build a torus around the outside, as well as a space dock.

Half of the dock is now complete.
I'll probably work on the other half tomorrow.
Provided some blasted schmendrick doesn't come along and destroy it like the amphitheater I build just before I left.
