I thought I got the answer already, but if you're going to be so nit-picky

Its in miles. I mean the question is 'how many miles..." Where do leagues come in?

Ten miles.

(Thanks to Serenoli for the assist, assuming Serenoli's hint is good.)

Leagues come into play in the spring with the start of Baseball.

Gandalf Picky Has Nothing To Do With Accuracy

The question has NOT been answered.

As I'm only on line ONCE for 9 min per day to try to avoid virus, etc. until my system is semi-protected again, If no one guesses this by tomorrow a.m. then I'll toss it for a new question.

Look, you guys, here it is - the straightforward question --

So, as Mithrand1r and Serenoli said, TEN MILES!! Has not this question been answered, Spock? Or is it still incorrect?

DUE TO TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, I TOTALLY MISSED SERENOLI **FINALLY** STATING THE DISTANCE IN MILES...............SO EITHER SHE OR YOU CAN POST THE NEXT QUESTION....I'm still trying to get my systems to work properly..............oh, and I'll be away for three days so, try to smile.

Well, perhaps, but I'm unaware of where he said this about that.

I'm looking at my book and who and what are different than you state and since I'm the questioner, I must await the correct input.

If you have the exact quote, tell me where.

means you got 50% correct and need the other 50% to win.
