Almost. Getting there. 50-60 press-ups isn't a big deal anymore, but I'm a little nervous about the 22lbs dumbell...

Oh, BTW, in case you're wondering, I'll reply to your emails tomorrow. I never reply at Gmail using my phone...

You're on your phone now? That is so bizzarre. How do you type?

[Edit:] Oh, hey, while I'm in the happy thread, I might mention that I am happy. Geez, I don't know why. It's just been a pleasant day (no, that's not really it..) I don't know. Just ignorantly happy.

Yup. I don't type, I write. It's a touchscreen phone, so it uses handwriting recognition software to understand my scribbling.

Oh, happy because new phone next month. Think I'll go for a SE W900i. I've sorta skipped the iPod trend.

This is a totally geeky happy post, but I finally got a battery for my old faithful HP-16C calculator. It got me through 10 years in the radar industry, cheerfully converting between hexidecimal and decimal and binary with nary a complaint, and doing my checkbook on the side just for laughs. The old thing's battery ran out a few years ago, and I've been unfaithful and using normal infix-style calculators (maybe that's why the checkbook isn't looking so good ... ) and I finally got my tail to Radio Shack and got batteries, and now I can cheerfully use infix notation and save time and keystrokes, and if my checkbook balance is depressing, I can always convert it to octal, where it will look MUCH better!

You mean they have it over there too!
I wouldn't buy an iPod if the world was coming to an end. I hate appliances that are white in color, or silver in color, or anything of that sort. It has to be black, or a matte dark grey. No exceptions.

EDIT: LOL, Rian. I'm not sure what that means, but it sounds great!

Wow.

Happy: the third phone number I called was finally the one I needed. Yay, etc.

Now the only thing left is to tell my dad how much we'll have to pay for my new passport plus my new ID...

Laughing at me again.. tsk. Poor, behind-the-times me.

Happiness: I don't have to work tomorrow!! I should be working, but I can't (sooo unfortunately) get a ride in on Saturday. Ah, well.

Surprising how a good cup of tea can make me happy. And I managed to at least make a start in cleaning the pond somewhat today. Achievement = me happy.

So? To tell you the truth, I don't want it JUST because having an iPod is cool. Having one would make me look like everyone else my age at my school (except for my polo shirts and khaki pants), and we can't have that, can we?
I'll get one of those Creative things, because I'm certain they are far better.

I love tea, Earniel. Good, home-brewed tea is one of my favourite vices.

My bigsis convinced us to go with Creative because she said you pay a lot more for an iPod just because it's an iPod. She also mocks iPod because their user manual says "do not jog with your iPod" but they sell little iPod-bags to carry your iPod in when you go out jogging.

So my Creative Zen works just fine.

Yes, tea is gooooood. I'm about the only tea-drinker here, everybody else of my family drinks coffee, and tea only when they're ill. So I always have the water-cooker all for myself. Mwahahah!
