Unfortunately, that's no spam. That's actual people who want something from me. Debate about things that need to be in an open meeting, or it violates the Sunshine laws. Invitations to fundraisers. Updates on the careers of aspiring singers. Facebook invitations. Book sales. Just foolishness, mostly. I'll open 16 and ignore 9. That's pretty good, I think.

I have a wide range of acquaintance. I can expect 40 a day on a slow day. Waste of electricity, mostly, but the only way to keep in touch with some good folks. Sensible people realize I only respond when I have something to say. So I wait and read for a bit, usually.

Heh, I don't have many people to keep in touch with. Or, at least, not many people that I care to keep in touch with.

Wow. I usually get at least one a day, but on some days I'll have like 5 or something, and if I don't check my e-mail for awhile...well... let's just say I usually spread out reading all of that mail over a few days...

I never get any emails lately :/ I guess that's because I never respond to anyone. I mean to, but it just doesn't happen.

I think I'm going to knit a scarf. I just learned to knit and all I can do are flat, rectangular things.
I've made this so far: Last edited by katya : 03-24-2008 at 10:04 PM. |

That's pretty much all I can do, too. The only other shape that I've knitted was little baby booties. I wanted to do a hat this winter, but I just never got around to it...

Sheer hypocrisy on the part of Christian creationists. Sometimes I'm ashamed of my fellow believers.

Didn't see that post before. The most I've gotten was about 1,000 or so, but most of it was spam. Very nice. What size knitting needles are you using?

Katya, the trick is to use thick yarn and thick needles.
But be careful, because the last time I underestimated the woolliness of the wool and I ended up making not a scarf, but an extra blanket... (One was too big to use as a scarf, so I made another and sewed them together et voila. ) I left it behind in Japan though.
