![]() This seems a bit more likely. Might as well lump my own shortcomings on the unsuspecting student. Crash every good quantum wavefront in them. ![]() Also found out that my Antropology teacher is willing to take students on trips with her to her various archaeological expeditions. While not cheap trips in and of themselves, I'm sure, I'll bet anything I'll leave a lasting-enough impression to be counted among those invited. In other news: I'm considering reading Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything followed by Simon Singh's Big Bang, and others in a list I recieved from one of the intelligent people I occasionally converse with at Starbucks. This list has the supposed best books to read to understand/learn about the universe and history, with instructions that the books must be read in the order presented. Not a very long list...but I'm assuming, based on my average reading speed, that it'll take about five years and $300 to read the whole thing, and that's if I don't stop and read something else from time to time. I think I'd like to start on the science strain first, since I'm already partially familiar with every subject presented, with a few additions of my own that the author of the list (an accomplished particle physicist, and friend of the guy who presented it to me) probably hadn't read yet. I'll post the revised list in a few days.

I still haven't figured out what FTW means, though I think it might be 'for the world' or something.
I'm going out for lunch with my cousin today. I totally forgot her birthday when I was in the States (i.e. forgot to buy her a present), so I figured I'd better buy her lunch >_< Tonight I'm going to meet the buy I'll tutor! I'm so excited! I've got a dozen teaching plans in my head already (though I can't decide on which one to use till I get to meet the boy and figure out what his exact problem is) ![]()

"And we're back on M.O.O.T. 102,2 with the Moots playing this tune for TB..."
Morning oh dreadful dawn, spread your pale dim light Reign for your last time over lands once so bright But your energy shall be weak, and soon to die So die in pain my dear, expire, goodbye... Ages has past since your eyes enlightened the eath (grammar!! ![]() from a source of light that gave all godness birth But your energy is weak and soon to die The ground is sour from the evil that here lie (gr.!) Chorus: I have come to challenge your ways Light's bane - The Last of your days Oh broken wings - My darkness enslaves Allow me to erase your feeble race Morning, so feeble dawn, spread no pale dim light You've been breeding for your last time, a source without might An epitaph oh lost worthlessness - Still echoes your last cries The earth is pure of the evil that here thrives Chorus: I have come to challenge your ways Light's bane - The Last of your days Oh broken wings - My darkness enslaves Allow me to erase your feeble race What marks the death of 'god' is the twilight for a dark age His creation being plagued with the venomous blood of ours The sky suffocates eclipsed by a black mist of hatred Where goodness cannot reach the fire burns in dark flames Chorus: I have come to challenge your ways Light's bane - The Last of your days Oh broken wings - My darkness enslaves Will you allow me to erase your feeble race? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3pB1OmU8gE |

Yep. I mentioned ftw too. I should have explained as well. I heard a new one recently. Instead of saying "epic fail" some people say "epoch fale" or "epoc fale". It's kinda funny to see it spelled that way. |

That would be really funny if someone said something and mixed up their epochs (talking about epochs for some reason). Then it really would be "epoch fail".

I really enjoyed my visit to the States, Amael. I'll definitely be back at some point.
![]() FTW= for the win, check. Sounds grammatically incorrect ![]() My friend is going to make a 5-course meal tonight and I'm invited to help partly with the cooking, but mostly with the eating ![]()

Tooth hurts like a$$$$$$, just really hurts. Going to see a dentist, yet that will have to be on Tuesday. So now it's just lots of Tylenol. ![]()
