Stop triple posting, XPerrry, you ninny. I know the race is on to get you an actual post count, but could you be more discreet?

Wow, this place has really slowed down from 2008...used to be if I didn't post here for two days I'd have another whole Teacup to read...

So what have I been doing...

Moved home from Florida to be with family...my grandma died a little more than two weeks ago ...trying to find an apartment here in Indiana...trying to find a job that isn't retail...going back to school soon...

Oh yeah, and I've become addicted to LOST. A friend got me to watch the pilot a week ago and I'm already on 3:6 and hoping to be live before the series ends. Please don't spoil me anyone!

So how is anyone?

I'm insanely busy, but fine. Trying to find a job in education, not doing so well, but I'll figure something out.
Sorry to hear about your grandmother. *hug*

I'm fine - we've been rather busy with emptying out our holiday cottage to sell it, but we've finally got everything done. Lots to do at work - as usual.

Hopes to write more fanfiction - but you already know that ...

Hey everyone,

Tennessee is facing some serious flash floods. Yesterday five people died from the floods. I-24 near Antioch, TN was completely flooded over.

http://cnmnewsnetwork.com/111264/nas...eather-update/

UPDATE: 15 people have died because of the floods between Mississippi and Tennessee. Please do pray even though the storms are over for now.

That's terrible . I'm definitely praying for them as well.

On a lighter note...

An Ode To My Netti Pot
Oh Netti Pot you are so strange,
You fill my nostrils with salty spray.
When I use you I look a fool,
Bent over the sink, and as a rule,
Wincing, squinting, choking on drool.
Yet when it's over I feel alright,
I find that I can breath at night,
Oh Netti Pot, I love you so,
even if you try to kill me every once in a while when I use you and I look like a retard pouring salt water in one nostril and letting it dribble out the other.
Oh brother.

"And we're back on M.O.O.T. 102,2 with the Moots playing this Drop King Murphys tune slightly changed..."

LOL!!

Tessar is the Royal Rooters rally cry
Tessar is the TUNE they always sung
Tessar echoed April through October nights
After serenading Stahl, Dineen and Young
Tessar is a maiden with the sparkling eyes
Tessar is a maiden with the love
She doesn't know the meaning of her sight
She's got a comment full of love
And sometimes when the game is on the line
Tessar always carried them away
Up the road from Third Base to Huntington
The boys will always sing and sway

Two! Three! Four!

Tessar, 'Nuff Said McGreevy shouted
We're not here to mess around
Boston, you know we love you madly
Hear the crowd roar to your sound
Don't blame us if we ever doubt you
You know we couldn't live without you
Tessar, you are the only, only, only

The Rooters showed up at the Grounds one day
They found their seats had all been sold
McGreevy led the charge into the park
Stormed the gates and put the game on hold
The Rooters gave the other team a dreadful fright
Boston's tenth man could not be wrong
Up from Third Base to Huntington
They sang another victory song

Two! Three! Four!

Tessar, 'Nuff Said McGreevy shouted
We're not here to mess around
Boston, you know we love you madly
Hear the crowd roar to your sound
Don't blame us if we ever doubt you
You know we couldn't live without you
Tessar, you are the only, only, only

The Rooters gave the other team a dreadful fright
Boston's tenth man could not be wrong
Up from Third Base to Huntington
They sang another victory song

I've heard jobs in education are hard to come by anywhere. I'm having problems finding a job too. Probably going to go back to school to get certified in computers. Lots of jobs there.

I had a friend stuck in a hotel down there. I'm in Northern Indiana, so we were spared those storms, but only by the grace of god. My prayers are with you guys, you've had it hard.

Lost rocks hard. Sawyer rocks hardest.

The dormouse!

Let me say, though, that I really liked the Cheshire Cat; I think Burton pretty much captured what Carroll did with it in his own time. Cheshire Cat and Caterpillar were the two most successful transpositions.

In my mind, the movie does not work as a coherent whole, but when understood as a loving tribute-cum-spectacle with a heavy dose of satire, it's thoroughly enjoyable.

Also, the first time I've seen anything in 3D. Dude.
