I just agreed to not eating snacks for the coming period. At all. I wish I could go back to a regular eating schedule as that really helps, but with school as it is...

Anyway, no snacks for me.

Don't say that!

Snacks are awesome--you just need to make sure they're the right kind.

Try things like sweet veggies (i.e. baby carrots, cucumber slices, raisins) and fruit (fresh or frozen) whenever you get a craving for a snack. It'll really help, and you (hopefully) wont feel like you're having to go hungry or denying yourself delicious food.

Well actually, if I just have an ordinary rhythm for food, I don't need snacks (or if school and people wouldn't upset me so much

), but with school and all the traveling to and from school, I get to eat at the weirdest hours.
Besides, I don't do dieting for my figure, I do it for my health. So basically I am going to try and get normal foodpatterns back. For as far as possible.

My mother is a complete goof-ball -_-.

She told me she was getting me something 'secret' for Christmas that she remembered hearing me say that I wanted.

Well I stumbled across it completely by accident, and by luck, when I was checking to see if my Amazon.com order had shipped, and it popped up with her items that had shipped... and one of them is the new Enya CD.

As I recall the conversation she has in mind went something like this:

Mom: Oh look, Anthony, Enya has a new Christmas CD out.
Me: Oh neat. Well, I do love Christmas music!
Mom: So are you gonna buy it?
Me: No, I'm not that interested.
Mom: I thought you loved Enya.
Me: I do, I just don't need any more of her music. Once you own two or three CD's you have the Enya-for-Life collection.

... so I'm actually relieved in this case because now I know to act surprised and excited. Where as my reaction if it had been a real surprise would have been something along the lines of having to cover my confusion

But still... that's so sweet. She tried to get me something she knew I'd really love

. As they say, it's definitely the thought that counts.

And heck... it's Enya. It's not like she's buying me something totally weird.
