I'm reading The Killer Angels by Michael Sharra. So far it's really good. It's about the Civil War, but it isn't like a history book, it's really about the characters.

I read alot of Dean Koontz's stuff, but his best by far(in my opinion) would have to be The Taking. I love that book!

I was digging in the basement the other day and found my Hobbitt and Trilogy set of books. After about 20 years of sitting in a box I'm rereading them for the 3rd or 4th time. The Hobbitt is about ready to fall apart it's been passed around so much.

I recently discovered a very (VERY) good Belgian author by the name of Amélie Nothomb. All of her novels (as fas as I know) are relatively short, but they're all mind-blowingly good!
If anyone wants to try her, I'd recommend The Character of Rain as a start (for those of you who can read in French, it was originally published as Métaphysique des Tubes ) |
