really old
it came from numenor... and was the object of the royal line of the lords of andunie... so, by the end of the fourth age i believe it would have been in existance for close to two ages, or a bit less than 6000 years?

yeah, end of third age... i thought the sceptre originated with lords of andunie of numenor... which split off around 550 SA
putting the sceptre at about 5900 by the end of the TA (to be more exact ) but, i must have confused my royal artifacts (where's Val )

Not 5900 years, no. It is the sceptre of Andunie, but it's much younger than 5900. I guess I shouldn't have said 'a bit exaggerated'.
