The season revamps itself on May 26 with a giant five team battle in Postal Wars Scenario qualifiers. So i can expect about 40-50 enemy combatants alongside my 12 team mates.

We are always outnumbered, and yet still always manage to win.

Oh, and yeah,I much prefer the Response trigger. If your E-Grip quits on you in field, oh you are going to get shelacked. *Has had this happen before*

I'm sure being an elite player helps that.

Have you checked out the SP-8 with the stock and silencer attached? One of my friends from high school got one and loves it. It's a very woodsy marker, and really strikes quite a profile too.

Yeah, I considered that. I'm hoping to get a battle vest for extended outings along with the ghillie.

Oh, I've seen it. I've even fought against it and won by the most narrow margine. And it was no fault of that gun. The owner was just a twit. I want one but be damned if I can find even the marker for less than 200.

But so far, my modded MR1 is at a pretty impressive level of performance as it is. It's good enough to get me a few more titles, I think.

The MR1 may not be expensive, but seems equally capable to "higher-end" markers.

I know what you mean about the gun, it's quite impressive. My buddy MOWS with it. I havnt had a chance to use it, but when I fought against it it seemed to me that the bolt action was extraordinarily quiet, as well as the vent at the front. I like it, but I'll stick with my guns for now.

I actually really like to here my guns action (on the model anyway) when I'm just playing around. It's a fun sound.

Yeh... It does add to the realizim. You'd be surprised just how similar it sounds to shots fired in the distance. Especially when you have a group of people in a 'shoot out'. Bleh heard way too much of that over last summer. I'm suddenly not too keen on hearing it in my field of play.

It's another one of the many mods I did to the MR1. I'm about to machine a silencer for it...

You have access to tools to do that? Damn, Sane. I'm movin out there.

I do like the quietness of the stealth though. But that's talking about a different tactic. I cant wait to get back out in the field. We've got ready made blinds that me and a friend scouted out last time I was with him, so I'm pretty excited.

Yeh, I may not have money, but I have good connections and good friends.

Anyways, I'm gearing mself up mentally and physically for getting back into the sport. That and I think my team is going to be three men short this summer, as they are going to be shipped ot over seas. And already one man short as it is since another team mate was wounded over there, so he doesn't really play anymore.

Did I mention I'm the only civilian on my team? And one of the few in this circuit that is non miliatry?

No, you didnt. That's sad about your team-mate, Sane. That's pretty cool, though, that your going up against milits and winning.

One of my buddies here was Marine Recon Sniper, and another was a sniper for NATO, and they both are pretty extreme players. I never played the Marine. He was just vicious. Nothing funny about it, he was TRYING to hurt you. Seriously, you couldnt let him get close enough for him to grab you, or it would be a tap-out, it diodnt help that he had been a body builder and was still benching a little over 500 pounds.

Yeah, just about all the players I know are like that. Except my team. We are pretty relaxed about things. We kick back at our safe zone, barebeque, have music, beer the whole nine. We have fun, and yet are also professional.

I've gone up against players like your marine. It's never pleasent. For either parties. I'm surprised we haven't had more fight related injuries, though we've had a few. I guess its due mostly to the fact that all the players (Yours truely included) are armed with far more potent things than paintball guns.

I suppose the rule is, if a challenge to a real fight is being shot around along with paintballs, then everyone will start exchanging lead. A few of our private one on one games nearly turned out to be frightening. Needless to say, we dont really do them anymore.

The only 1v1 games we play are between close friends we've played with for some time, so no worries there, and we generally stick within our own cell for games. But I generally am armed anyway, so it's no different for me to sit armed in a blind.

I generally enjoy close-quarters 1v1 matches. They get pretty exciting among friends.

Yeah, we have regular military ranks in our team since we consist of about 30 players all told. the Field Marshal for us is a guy by the name of DC... We have three Generals, and I am was one of two Lt. Generals, though I demoted myself to a Captian before I left for overseas. Anyways, its a fun game. We play well, play hard and enjoy ourselves. That's the key.

It's all about having fun, really. That's what it boils down to. I generally like to govern deployment and assignments, but since I'm first in I generally cant tell everyone what to do, and many times we play loosely. Generally me and the other most experienced member of my team head in first to set up, then the rest of both teams follow.

I really need to get out there again. Once I buy this camera I'll be free to repair my Stealth, by my vest and ghillie, and really get back into the spirit of it.

So hard for me to understand why people would relax with paintballs when they use real ones.

My vacations tend to be composed of some different activities than my daily ones.

Unless I consider many military people are just stone crazy, which is an explanation I occasionally toy with.

Well, I dunno Sis. I think its because they go stir crazy if they leap straight back into civilian life after such long stretches on duty. They need to have some semblance of what it was like back there. It's like, um, the patch for smokers.

What Sane said. I've know lots of guys coming back in, and they all deal with it in different ways, some leap back in with both feet, others take it in steps.
