The Bison & Dall Sheep Adventures

I visited Helsinki (I'm living at the field station now) over the weekend to get some things fixed and to meet friends. These things were planned, the following was not: spending most of my Saturday dragging northern American animals around downtown Helsinki. Why? To make people aware that the museum of natural history reopens after a 2.5-year renovation. And I'm pretty sure it worked.

Crossing streets was among the most exciting parts..

.. but as far as I know, there were no reports of collisions with a bison/dall sheep in the papers the next day.

We weren't alone in trying to get people's attention.. Superman was there,

and so was santa.

At the train station

Among crazy, shopping people.

The group - I'm the scary one in sunglasses.

Bringing them back home..

Very nice photos indeed, GW.

I really like the first one as well as the second, but I would've tried to get one of the trees without the road showing. The two trees in front of the endless ocean melting into the sky is very powerful, but is distracted by the asphalt.

(PS. tell me if the critique is unwanted - it's just a reflex X)

Unfortunately I dont have a program good enough to crop it - would you be so kind and help me.

I only have paint at the moment - will hopefully get Elements from one of my Photoclub buddies.
