my nana gone into a nurseing home with a load of wacked out old people and my grandad is on death door.

i know we all have to die sometime but they are not going with the diginity that they the most wonderful grandperents anyone could hope for deserve.

In many ways i wish they would just die and go out with some class.

Yeah, i hate it when in the winter we have to share the rifle range! So noisy compared to the slight twang of the bow! And also less deadly

<evil grin. Also, the main reason i hurt my arm is when im not concentrating properly and have my arm straight instead of with a slight bend. But as i say, the bracer is too big!

I hate that my grandma won't admit she's feeling sick. At one moment she says she hasn't felt sick for weeks, the next she says that she hasn't been feeling well for a few weeks. Not only that, but she doesn't even know which medications she's taking for what!

^ Aww no! I really really hate getting sore throats. With me i can't take strepsils or any kind of throat medication so i really suffer with sore throats, you just can't sleep and it's awful. I really feel your pain EG, especially if the throat pain killers make you feel sick like they do me!

What's this pain killers of which you speak? Never heard of 'em! Er, right. Yeah, that's me, always complainging about headaches and sore throats, but not doing anything about it. *sigh*

I hate how forgetful i am! I left my key in my room today so I had to wait outside my hall in the rain 'til someone who was going inside anyway came and let me in. Argh.

In England we have throat sweets...medicated to take away the pain. Called Strepsils, or Tunes, or Halls Soothers, stuff like that. Not sure what kind of things you have up in that side of the world!

At least you had your rain EG!!! Not the evil humidity you complained about last week, or the other day or whatever...i also hate being forgetful, i keep forgetting to write out my grades on my UCAS form!!! Dammit!

I love the rain, I just wish it would be warmer. But oh well.

We have cough drops and stuff which helps, but that's about the extent of what I ever bother doing to help a sore throat. Er. Halls and stuff like that are useful. When I bother to find them

I hate that i am now ill and am stuck in the house, wandering around in pain and in a daze waiting for something good to happen. I can't even come on the net (except now mums gone out) because i have a headache and she won't let me!

I'm also hungry and can't find any nice food!

My grandad is just old and weak. he is 83 now and is too weak. he has numonia which isnt good. it is cureable but if it isnt this it will be something else

WOW! 83 is a real good age! Well i say make him happy then while he's ill. My grandad used to love me or my brother to just sit and talk to him. Do that.

And EG, being ill sucks. Lets make joint complaints! I have a sore throat, feel sick and my whole right side is in pain...some sort of muscle pulling i think. Possibly from putting my bow up. But more likely from work!

I hate not being able to sleep, you just lie there anf think when am i going to be asleep...grrr!!! Evil illnesses! I hope you feel better soon too!

On the upside i drew a picture of the Nal today!

Very happy with it. Though it's A3 sized so i can't scan all of it when i've painted it.

EG and E XK, sorry you're feeling so bad, hope you feel better soon. Sore throats are so painful, and I always end up losing my voice, and then people wonder why you aren't talking to them... do you lose your voices, too?

E XK, have you found your nocks yet? I posted something to you a while back on this thread with the name and number of an archery mail order place that's really great, but I didn't realize you were in England! Can you find some archery catalogs over there? This one is so fun - the latest one was 119 pages of EVERYTHING you could possibly think of for archery!! I wonder if they ship to England - think I'll call and find out ...

My voice sounded really bad for the last two days. Don't know what it's like now because I haven't spoken yet today but if the way my throat feels is anything to go by it'll probably be just as scratchy and awful.

I couldn't sleep either, XK, because breathing through my nose was basically impossible...

And I'm sad I can't see the picture of the Nal because it's gotta be really cool!

Argh. I missed biology lecture today because I was sleeping. Much needed sleep because I stayed up so late to finish my chemistry lab.

Yeah, thanks, i did find out about the place you suggested, but as im in England *sigh* i had to find one over here, i ordered from Quicks the archery specialist based in the UK, should come soon! *excited grin...turns into hacking cough face* They will prob ship out, but p&p would be quite a lot!

I feel so sorry for you EG! Colds are the evilist of all evils! Along with the sore throats that go with! I know what we need....WINE!!!!!!!!!!! *gives EG glass...wait, bottle of wine*

I'm gonna have to find an A3 size scanner...if they exist!

If not i'll scan it in two halfs and attempt to join it up cuz i'd love you to see it! It ain't amazing but it's better than my last attempt at a ship!

you poor guys, have you ever tried Cod liver oil?? it is supposed to get rid of cold and soar throats in 2 days. you could problly get it at a health food or vitamin store. doesn't taste good, but it works.

Sure I don't mind telling them how my day at school was, Sure I don't mind listening them complaining about work but does it have to be NOW?! Not ten minutes later?
