... hum. You know, I have to say, this look isn't as bad as I thought it was. Weird how taking a picture makes it look better than I thought it did. I think the problem is that I've been putting my bangs to the side, like I did when my hair was short. Letting them lay flat (which happened because I just got out of the shower) actually makes the hair look pretty okay and it makes the beard look better.

I don't hate the hair as much now.

And someone said that was ugly? They need their eyes checked.

I just went and got it trimmed... it ended up a little shorter in the bangs, she thinned everything out (my hair is so thick that unless I get it thinned it turns into an afro O_o) but everything else looks the same, just 'cleaner'. Hooray!

Now I feel tons better.

I also got some badass sunglasses. >.> That helped.

I like the hair; the way it's clinging a little bit in clumps gives it a vaguely Romanesque feel. Of course, it's still a good deal too short.

My hair naturally does that. I think I actually have naturally wavy hair (my sister and mother do, although my dad is Hispanic so his hair is straight) I've just never grown it long enough to really test that. I think I might keep my hair at this length once the opera is over, although the beard is gonna go.

Makes me feel better... although the hair trimming definitely, definitely helped with that too.

Apparently I misquoted my friend, she claims she said that I looked "sexy ugly," which.... I'm not sure is any better than ugly? I don't... I mean... I'm still not sure how to interpret that. O_o

I'm with your mom on the shave.

Haircut, though, is a different matter. It's nice now, but seriously, if it grew out a little, and if the aforementioned natural tendencies of your hair were encouraged and built upon, it would be very nice, indeed.

My mom, on the otherhand, is always (at least a little) horrified when I get a haircut. She didn't like the idea at first, but I've been toying with long hair for long enough that now she's pretty much a fan, and likes me better when my hair is longer.
